Great taco spot! The OG taco is probably the best taco I've ever had. I won't even make steak tacos at home anymore because it doesn't make sense to, and I make crazy good steak tacos. Their's are just so much better. Tuesday is basically half off for basically the same daily taco. Maybe on Tuesday they are slightly lighter, or perhaps it's just so many that need to be made so quickly that they just seem like it. This is typical for any taco place on a Tuesday, but most other places are noticeably more meager and not the same quality on their TT's. Tuesdays at Sanchos are definitely the same quality taste and are quite a bargain, even if they perhaps are slightly lighter. Chubbie sauce is insane and they sell bottles of it.

Very nice atmosphere, right next to the ocean. The food was delicious; only issue is I got the nacho fries and they were a bit soggy due to being made almost like a casserole. Still tasted really good, and the presentation was amazing. Would highly recommend their tacos or burritos.

Without a doubt THE ABSOLUTE MOST memorable Mexican restaurant & small/local chain I’ve ever been to whenever outta town. Probably in general.I’d almost recommend the owners to strongly consider expansion in certain Mid-American markets. Not only because of their food & fairly original atmosphere/theme, but as an “insurance policy” in case Southern California gets more unbearable fiscally or bureaucratically as the years go on.

Found Sancho's on Google driving home from Carlsbad. We had 2 fish tacos, two tri-tip tacos and nachos with chicken. Nice big tacos, fish was tender and not dry, sauce was good. My wife gave the tri-tip 2 thumbs up. We'll hit Sancho's again next time we're driving home from North SD County.

One of the best burritos I've had in a long time. I was in San Clemente for the night and wanted some Mexican food. I found this place on Google and gave it a try based on the reviews. I was not disappointed at all. I ordered the carnitas burrito and got it wet with green sauce. They asked what salsa I wanted on the side and I said the spicy habanero one. They surprised me and gave me all 4 of their house made salsas and I used all of them. The green sauce the burrito was covered in filled the dish they served it to me in. I hate those places that put just a drizzle of sauce, but not Sancho's. That thing was covered. If I'm ever back in town, I will definitely be back.

A must stop on a trip between LA and San Diego. Superb decorated restaurant and food to match. Be ready and really hungry, as the portions are huge...Secret sauce, otherwise known as, Chubbie's is a must on anything imaginable.
