Wow it's soooo good!!! The Famous Carnitas plate was exceptional...
Can't wait to go back... Everything was so fresh and delicious, I loved the greens on my plate..
Hands down one of the best Carnitas I have ever enjoyed...
Hats off to the kitchen staff....

Good was good and the dog friendly patio was nice. Service was ok - our server forgot the drinks and we only saw him 2 times. We ended up ordering more with the staff who was bring out the food from the kitchen.

Had the most amazing meal starting with quac that was accompanied by mole sauce. Great selection of unique margaritas, I had the cucumber cilantro with tajin and it was light and refreshing. Moved to salmon salad which was very good but not blow your socks off level. Staff was lovely, service was excellent and we love the indoor outdoor vibe. Only downside was the acoustics in the room where every voice seems to echo throughout the room

Sol Agave in San Clemente is an absolute gem! I stopped in for a light late lunch during thier early happy hour, and had the pork chile verde nachos, and they were *amazing*—perfectly crispy, tender pork, and just the right amount of spice. Their skinny margaritas were light and super refreshing. The atmosphere inside is beautiful, modern yet inviting, with a great vibe that makes you want to stay and sip margaritas all afternoon. The chips and salsa were on point, and I love that they make EVERYTHING fresh daily—huge bonus! The manager was incredibly welcoming, and with plenty of parking in the back, this spot has major potential. I can’t wait to start hosting South OC Happy Hours here!

Came in on a Sunday evening sat at the bar.
Everything seemed promising got our first drinks right away. Got our food order in, got our food, it “looked good”
Steak fajitas: first bite was the chewiest “steak” I’ve had, i had to cut it into little pieces to be able to eat it.
Fish tacos: they were not very good, honestly Primos are better according to my son. He said they were a little better after taking all the fancy stuff off them.
I think it’s time to update the menu. Last couple times in it’s been this way.
Seems the staff was more interested in talking to the guys at the end of the bar than paying attention to our second round of drinks and water refills.

I was excited to try out this restaurant... We came for happy hour. Our waiter (Mid 40s short Hispanic guy with glasses) was our server. He was very robotic and unenthusiastic. His voice was a bore to listen to, he didn't smile, didn't say anything about the menu or speciality drinks. He suck the excitement out of us. He needs to remember that people don't come here to just eat... we all have food in the refrigerator we come for the experience.

INCONSISTENT! We have visited Sol Agave in SC quite a few times & it is usually very enjoyable. We love their creamy jalapeno soup & margaritas. But today our soup bowls were only1/3 full. Our margaritas were all ice & just 2 sips of liquid. I mentioned this to the bar tender who was waiting on us & he just said "that's how it is." We also tried the spinach enchiladas, but they were awful. The sauce tasted like Tabasco sauce. Very expensive for such poor quality & service. Very disappointing. Won't be going back.
