The food is really good, loved the salsa and our entrees but very pricey and a limited menu. I'd like to see more entrees and average price was $24 and up. Drinks are fantastic but again pricey. Go for happy hour!! Great service every time we go.

Wonderful late afternoon family meal, memorable salmon sald, porkbelly bites, chicken fajitas, sugar cane filet and chicken tenders for the kids. Definitely pricey, but the quality of food and excellent service were well worth memories of that afternoon.

Food was delicious , service was great .. celebrated a birthday there and they accommodated us pretty well but won’t recommend a big party here .. I feel room is limited .. all in all great experience, and good food.. Come to find out the Gentleman running this restaurant, his Dad/uncles are really good family friends with my family back in Jalisco Mexico.. They know each other very well and live in the same Pueblo …wow !! Small world !! He a great person and his staff is excellent !!! Will recommend 100%…
Great service. Made me feel at home. Their carnitas are bomb! Soft, tender and crispy. Just visiting, if I lived here, it would be my spot. I didn't partake because it was only Monday however these guys have an incredible tequila selection.
Everything here is delicious, the drinks are superb, and the food is to die for. I've eaten here a a few times and always find myself ordering the enchiladas de langostas every time! There's something about the green sauce that pairs so beautifully with the lobster and their Veracruz white rice is delicious. The service is always next level, with all the staff being very attentive and quick. Your drink will never go empty! I ordered the piña margarita and it was perfectly balanced with sweetness with the Don Julio. The restaurant is nestled in a cute alley and is super cute with Spanish-style decor. There is a window for you to see the kitchen, which is a nice touch! We brought a couple of friends who eat a lot of Mexican food and are from Mexico and they loved sol agave. We can't wait to go back!

The service was excellent and most of all the food was DELICIOUS! The free chips & salsa were also really good. The margarita flight was really good too. I got the lobster enchiladas which were soooooo good. This place is a must try.

SO GOOD! This place was recommended by a coworker and it did not disappoint. Not only did we get seated right away without a reservation on a Friday night the service was great and the waitress was so attentive. She always refilled our waters without asking and gave us the bill in a timely manner. The food was SO good. I am very picky so the menu was confusing to me but they were able to accommodate. The ambiance was so nice. We sat outside but I didn't feel cold because of the heaters. If I am ever in San Clemente again for work I will be coming back for sure!

Rodrigo and Frankie were our servers and I can’t decide if the food or the service was better! They were so kind, and though they were running around doing a bunch of things, we got asked if we needed anything at least every 20 min. We had the chicken and steak tacos, the steak taquitos, the pollo al gusto and the BUTTER CAKE ? My husband’s face in the last picture says it all! Definitely coming back!
