Found ourselves in the area at dinner time and hadn’t been there before so in we went. I had two tacos, she had a salad. They ignored the “no avocado please” request? My “fuego” carnitas was not all at fuego, but it was tasty and filling. They bring the food to you and clear your table
Real good fast food. Unique experience both in the atmosphere and the food. They also have several gluten free options, which is a plus!
Nice location that is not too busy during the lunch hours. Plenty of parking. Food is very good from simple taco to a full size meal. Recommend.
next to the movie so parking may be a challenge, great food and service, one of the better Wahoos, great chain, good food
When for late lunch at it was great as it was not busy. I had the fish tacos protein style and they were great, they use romaine lettuce and it works great as a tortilla The salsa bar was very clean and well stocked. My mom had the tortilla soup and she said it was great and it was a large bowl for the price. My mom had to try the churro chips and she loved them Good lunch
Very friendly and engaged staff. Tortilla soup and fish taco combos very tasty. Really enjoyed black beans and brown rice. Real ed atmosphere. Good for all ages. Coupons received for future visits. Highly recommend.
I’ve been a fan since the first Wahoos opened in Costa Mesa. This location has some really awesome customer service. The employees were very friendly, helpful and seemed liked they loved their job. I always order a #2.. the best fish tacos ever!
Healthy bowls, Tacos, Salads. It has a outside area to eat that is great if you have rowdy kids. Heat lamps if it's a bit chilly outside. Friendly staff and yummy rice krispies.
When visiting relatives in the San Clemente area, this is my first stop. The location is a bit odd, so look around this shopping area carefully. I ordered the Citrus Slaw Burrito; this was a massive burrito. Lots of good stuffings and an overload of sauce and cheese. I thought I'd have leftovers, but I ate the whole thing. Really friendly wait staff, thanks Crisoforo! I hope these will soon be throughout Texas! Stop here.
I was on a mission to try as many places for fish tacos as I could while in the area. A casual place with healthy side options, I thought the fish taco here was my favorite. When it was suggested that a margarita would go very well with my order, I decided to go for it. And I was bowled over by how good it was! I got the 'light' margarita as I'm avoiding corn syrup & artificial ingredients. (the ingredients for 3 different types are listed) Watching the man squeeze the juices & carefully blend the drink, I saw he knew what he was doing. If you go, do NOT forgo this pleasure! I regret I only got to go there once this trip.

This is a couples or family type of fast food restaurant, however the food is NOT fast food quality. We have been coming here for 10+ years. Really, really quality. Never had a bad meal here. They should get 7 stars for customer service. They greet you when you arrive, every staff member is super polite and friendly. Most of them tell you good by and "God Bless You". An attitude that deserves a medal!
The fish taco combo was fantastic. I was kind of disappointed because it seemed to take a long time, but the manager actually gave me a coupon for free taco later to make up for the long wait. They just earned a very happy, Long time customer.
Hard to say what's changed, but I don't LOVE Wahoos like I once did (been a customer since 1990). It's still a decent place for lunch, but somehow the quality seems to have dropped. Bummer. I hope they can turn things around.
I will admit that Wahoo's was our second choice for dinner in that our first choice in the same complex was closed due to water heater problems. It was our son-in-law's birthday and he got to pick the venue. The counter person was very friendly and upbeat. At Wahoo's you pick the protein that you want for your meal and match it up with their extensive menu. I chose the carne asada Outer Reef Burrito. I could not believe how large it was. Finishing just the filling, I left most of the tortilla behind. My wife had the toquitos and was very happy with her selection. Our daughter and her husband had other items that I do not recall, but they were also pleased. Again, in serving us, the counter guy was very friendly and helpful. They deliver your meal to you hot on a plate with silverware. It being many years since our last visit, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and service.
Conveniently located next to the movie theater, the fish tacos are wonderful. Also, the shrimp bowl is very good as the shrimp is spiced up a little. They serve you your food after you order. The environment is a beach scene. Great atmosphere, casual.
