Subway

I’ve had several negative experiences at the Subway on Camino de los Mares in San Clemente. On my first visit, I was charged double for a kid’s meal, and when I politely asked about it, the staff yelled at me. Since then, my visits have consistently involved rudeness and unprofessional behavior. Even simple requests, like asking for a sandwich to be remade, are met with yelling and intimidation.

I tried to reach out to the owner to address these concerns, but I never received a personal response. Instead, the owner publicly posted false claims that I harassed the staff — which is completely untrue. This response suggests a troubling pattern of ignoring legitimate customer complaints while defending aggressive or inappropriate staff behavior.

Based on my experience, this location demonstrates poor customer service, inconsistent business practices, and a lack of accountability. I cannot recommend this location and would caution others to be aware.

The absolute worst sandwich I have ever had. The kid working there was so slow. Only put 2 slices of turkey on a six inch. Bread was very stale and they put as little possible veggies/lettuce on it. What a joke. Will never go back there.

Spending $20 for 2 6”sandwiches that were supposed to be double meat was very disappointing.
Not only were the sandos sad, but none of the instructions on the order were correct. I’m losing faith in SW and will consider other options when I’m craving a sandwich in the future.

I use to get salads from this subway and now the salads they make don’t taste good any more and the service has decreased no more chopped salads big thumbs down

Got a sandwich today and the bread was anything but fresh…. The bread was like a giant crouton. This is the second time I have had this experience at subway…. For a shop whose motto is “eat fresh” it was nowhere near fresh. I will never spend my hard earned money there again. What a disappointment…

That lady mean. I asked for a soda that’s all I wanted and she looked at me like I should I know with attitude that the “machine is broke”. How am I supposed to know? There is no sign lol.
