I did a Pad Thai take out order of roughly $17. I did not leave a tip. This morning, I received a notification from CapitalOne that I left a 50% tip resulting in $27.

I can’t believe the cashier guy/owner self-inserted a $10 tip for my takeout order!

Avoid at all costs!!!!! Plenty of other Thai food out there. This one isn’t special. If you can’t trust this owner, then what does this place have?

I grew up in Bangkok and this is my favorite Thai restaurant in San Clemente. Authentic food and great service!

This was the worst pickup experience I've ever had. There was nobody in the restaurant but they couldn't find my order in their app and almost argued with me to say I was wrong, despite showing them the DoorDash confirmation. When the finally cooked my order, it was incomplete and I had to return to the restaurant to tell them of the missing food. They cooked it, and served it. No apology, or acknowledgment. Ridiculous customer service

Thai Dara 2 is great! I went in today to order takeout for our medical office staff. I noticed a mistake when I picked up my food (likely poor communication on my part), and they fixed it very quickly and kindly. Above 5 stars on service! The food is fresh and delicious. The lunch specials are priced very well and are big portions. There are options for everyone's dietary restrictions, too, which is so great to find.

The interior of the restaurant is cozy and would be a great place for an intimate lunch or dinner.

I'm writing this as I gobble down my delicious pad Thai with shrimp, and I'm also very impressed at how well the food was packaged, it's still piping hot.

Thai Dara 2 is my favorite Thai restaurant from San Diego to LA. I ordered the mixed sea food pumpkin curry. It came with mussels, shrimp, fish cakes, octopus, pumpkin, bell pepper, and onion with a generous side of rice. Most restaurants would leave the tail shell on the shrimp, but at Thai Dara they take the extra time to remove the shrimp tails, and not the lazy way either, you get the whole shrimp. Abel and the staff are always so friendly and hard working.
