If you get the chance to check out The Cellar on Del Mar, make sure to get the Fried Chicken Sandwich, you wont be disappointed. They have the best french fries in town and a stellar ranch. If you can grab a flight, make sure to try some of their wines.
My girlfriend and I were celebrating our 1 year anniversary and had a wonderful time. We ordered the Lobster Bisque and French Onion Soup. Both soups were very rich, especially the Lobster Bisque, which was extremely creamy. I had the Striploin and Pomme Frites, which were both cooked to perfection and very flavorful. Celebrated my anniversary here. Staff congratulated my wife and I. Ambiance was amazing; dimly lit, decor was on point. The staff carries the overall experience, everyone from the food runner, to the bartenders, to our server were lovely. The food is the only reason I would not give the Cellar a 5 star review. At the price point, I believe most would agree, that there is a level of execution that is expected. Grilled Octopus skewers were great. My biggest gripe was with the entrée....
