I rarely write reviews, but my experience here was so phenomenal that I feel it is necessary. Two friends and I went for a leisurely family style dinner and everything we ordered, from the drinks to the appetizers to the entrees, exceeded our expectations. Beyond that, everything came out impossibly fast, our server was stellar, and they gave us a complimentary dessert. I can't wait to go back.

My Cousin Kathy enjoyed a great birthday dinner. The complimentary appetizer was delicious. She said her salad was very good and my tomato soup was unique, thick, and flavorful. We both had Chilean Sea Bass. It was outstanding! The Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Crumble - apple strudel ice cream & bourbon caramel sauce was terrific! Very flavorful Her's was served with a birthday candle.The main dining room looked newly decorated. It has a very comfortable ambiance, and steps must have been taken to reduce the noise level. I am hearing impaired and have a cochlear implant, yet Kathy and I had no difficulty conversing. Our waitress, Justess was delightful - friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. As a result, our evening was very special!

Vine is our favorite restaurant in San Clemente, and never disappoints including tonight. We came to celebrate a special birthday for two friends who are not from the area and they loved everything, especially how pampered we were with the dessert and cocktails. Food was amazing as usual.

Delicious food, great ambiance, and excellent service!!! Last night, Gabe, the owner, and Sam, our server, made my husband's birthday extra special. We love going to Vine because the crew always go out of their way to make your dining experience special.

Made a last-minute reservation and they were prepared! Sloan was a wonderful waitress. Food was great! My salmon plate was perfect and a huge portion! Not dry at all. The pumpkin ravioli were a hit as well. Prices were very good. Parking is rough. Friendly people all around! Mostly outdoor seating but they have very strong heaters so it’s nice and toasty.

Belated Valentine's dinner on a busy Friday night. We were so glad to dine at Vine our first time there. They were very accommodating to my diet request/restriction. Someone was always checking on us. Pumpkin ravioli was great, Foccacia was great, Polyester Cadillac drink was different, Vegetables & white beans were yummy. Hubs had a steak with mashed potato and cauliflower and seemed very happy with it. Berry sorbet was wonderful. Lighting was too dim to read the menus, but we made due. We can't wait to come back, as well as try Bloom in SJC and the other locations. Sapphire in Laguna Beach is one of my favorites also.

What a great night out! The Vine is a quaint restaurant in downtown San Clemente. My wife has been there several times in the past, this was my first (but not last) visit. It started with cocktails at the bar, Connor, the bartender recommended a vodka basil gimlet for my wife - she loved it. My old fashion was also outstanding! The hostess then seated us in a great corner table, Sloane was our server and she was outstanding! We did not feel rushed and this was a Saturday night. I ordered the Ribeye which was cooked to perfection and my wife ordered the fish of the day which was butter poached lobster. The kitchen sliced my ribeye so that we could share portions of our entries. It was a great evening out and everyone at the Vine went above and beyond to ensure we had an outstanding experience!

What a treat to revisit one of my favorite restaurants! We had a family dinner at San Clemente's Vine -- greeted by Kyle, one of the owners -- he makes you feel so welcome. Sam was our server -- very experience, knowledgeable and friendly. We started off with brussels sprouts, mac and cheese with bacon, and Mexican shrimp. We enjoyed their special Napa hamburger, ribeye steak, salmon, and Chilean Sea Bass. We enjoyed Cab and Pinot by the glass the complimented our entrees. For dessert we had Chocolate cheesecake and Cabernet sorbet. I highly recommend the Vine for ambience, service, and excellent dining.
Great service and amazing food. One of our favorites for birthdays and anniversaries. Very personalized service, attentive without seeming clingy. Everyone seems to be enjoying themselves while they work.

One of the nicer San Clemente restaurants. Great atmosphere, lively crowd, awesomely good food! Parking is difficult, so make sure to leave time to park. Can't wait to go again!!
