I eat at wow poki more than anywhere else (besides my own restaurant) because I love their product. This is one of the very few poke spots anywhere that offers yellowtail or gluten-free ponzu or brown rice. That alone is worth 5 stars. The fish is almost always really fresh. Some days it's less so, but I know the fish market closes one day per week and I go anyway because it's that good. The owners are there a lot and they're always nice to me and my family. I usually get it to go, so don't pay much attention to the vibe. The only thing I'd change would be to add a fresh brewed tea option. Then I might just eat there every day.

Well, if you are familiar with what poke is like where it comes from, then you know what a disappointment most mainland poke places are - so much rice, so little fish. Though they do commit some taste crimes (like auto-spunking spicy mayo all over your fish), this place isn’t terrible. But they are so obviously pushing the cost reduction envelope as hard as they can that it’s laughable. Yeah ha ha ha… until you look at how little actual fish is in your bowl and you start crying instead. I asked for five “scoops” of fish. I think maybe there were five little cubes of fish in there? Shameful. Unpleasant. Frustrating. Unsatisfying. So let’s be clear: this place is NOT about the fish. And it’s not about you. It’s very much about them. But not about any skill, taste, style, soul or inspiration they may have. I don’t think they have any of that, actually. This is just about them turning a meager little dime in Talega. Avoid.

Great restaurant! The fish is good quality and very fresh. The ideal texture. They have a great selection of options for your bowl (and a scoop of avocado is free!) Their prices are competitive with other places in the area.

This is my first time eating poki. I had no idea what I was missing out on. This is amazing. Explosion of flavors and textures in your mouth. Definitely recommend this place.
