85C Bakery Cafe - Balboa Mesa is a pastry cafeteria offering a wide variety of pastries, including cool custards and light, airy baked goods. Their cakes are delicious and perfect for special occasions, made with lighter cream. The bakery also serves tasty and fresh treats like the Hawaiian Chicken bun, chocolate croissant, and milky bun at an affordable price. The Hokkaido Milk Mochi is a favorite. While the individually wrapped goods in plastic are a downside, the bakery is highly recommended for its value and treats. Service has always been good, polite and friendly. The womens bathroom has been clogged/disgusting. Shelves were fairly full. This is a convenient location on Balboa Ave.
