Arrived early and was greeted and promptly seated. Food selection was excellent and everything I ate was very good. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We deliberately went for the early seating before the restaurant gets crowded, no lines, no waiting. Pricey but worth it. Been here before and will be back.
An icon in San Diego, 94th Aero Squadron sits on the edge of the Montgomery Airfield and the decor is like somethin out of WW11. Very comfortable, friendly staff and quite an extensive buffet for lunch. The food is very basic buffet food with lots of selection.
Was able to make an early bird reservation, saving a few dollars. Get in on it if you can! Seating before 930AM, however... I also did the early reservation this time around because if you come here a little late,r closer to say 11AM it gets super busy. If you prefer to get in a out before all the hustle and bustle come when they open!. Food was plentiful, from seafood to roasted top sirloin, a cheese spread, lots of green items, and hot food; they even had a cute little ramen...
