Good pure acai - finally a place that doesn’t blend it with extra fruits. Would like them to have a less sweet option (no honey). However the guy serving us was SO slow, by the time we got our order it was all melted. Also the portion sizes are a bit small for the price.

My favvvvorite açai spot. It’s more of an açai cup. It’s so good that I go 1-2 times a week. Staff’s friendly. Love the consistency of the açai, not too sweet, slightly bitter, super dark concentrated purple color, and the toppings are healthy! Nourishing and getting in your antioxidants. Location is great if you’re by the beach and near the boardwalk… kind of challenging with parking though if you are lucky. Bring a friend so you can double park and they can order your açai. Trust me, it’s worth it! I’ve been to sooo many local açai spots and Açai Carioca is really the best one in town without additives. The true test is that it melts quick. If your açai is not melting, you’ve got to question what kind of gums and additives are in it. I hope you love it just as much as I do!!

WOW! Hands down, the best acai in San Diego I've tried. It was not too sweet (like most are) and you can taste the freshness. I got a half acai half coconut with delicious pistachio cream and strawberries. SO GOOD and served well.
Also, the service was perfect. Super kind and welcoming. New favorite spot.

Açaí cup was subpar. The amount of toppings given for $1 a topping is not worth it. Ordered cheese bread and he forgot to charge me then remembered when my cups were almost done. No seating available. The only other person that talked to me was a lady to tell me that their prices went up, no greeting.
