Really solid BBQ. The brisket was fatty and full of flavor, and the ribs had a nice smoky taste with tender meat that nearly fell off the bone. The coleslaw could’ve used a bit more vinegar for balance. Wings were not gluten free, so I didn’t try them.

Staff was super friendly, though parking was tight with lots of towing warnings. My current favorite BBQ spot in San Diego.

Pam was extremely good as the manager.. told her that I was a native Texan who knows her bar b que. Kansas City is equally great as Texas bbq and Mississippi. And Missouri. Anyway, she’s got some thinking to help me out with my order and I’m satisfied and will be back soon.

From Kansas City, live here now and this is a good place. I don’t eat at bbq spots with no active pit or on site smokin. That is how I found this place, I didn’t see it at all driving down Miramar rd , i smelt it lol .

It's good - nothing spectacular and unable to try the ribs or burnt ends (kind of a make or break with a bbq joint) but decent. The sides were edible - coleslaw has no flavor and the Mac n cheese is... different, not my cup of tea but some might like. Good Texas toast, I like the cornbread but it's not traditional.

I was planning to take my family to a different BBQ restaurant, but it was a bit farther than I wanted to go. So we found Abby's Real Texas BBQ. Wow. So glad we did. It was a bit warm when we walked in, but not terrible. The smell was amazing. We got our food and it tasted fantastic! Chicken, ribs, pulled pork, brisket, all of it, fantastic! I got the BBQ sauce on the side, so I could dip. It was great too! All the sides were absolutely delicious. But the corn bread, mmmmm, so light and soft, just a little crispy on the outside, scrumptious. I can't wait to go back again. If I want BBQ, I would much rather have Abby's Real Texas BBQ than the other place I was headed to.

Great chicken BBQ, I visited from Sacramento and stopped by unexpectedly. Mark was phenomenal with his customer service and interactions. It's apparent he takes good care of his customers with outstanding service and food. Will definitely go again.

The beef brisket and corn bread was very solid. Good balance of sweetness for their cornbread
