Friday night exploring Asian cuisine in the SD Convoy area. We wanted to stop by at a Japanese restaurant to have a little nibble before we went to have Korean food. We had sushi and a beer at Sushi Kuchi, a corner eatery right next to Aqua Spa. The place is casual, quaint without much frills. The staff was attentive. We only ordered one roll, I cannot remember the name but it was gorgeous and absolutely delicious! It was a crab roll with red onions and thinly spiraled beets...

Delicious and very large sushi, delicious soup. Parking is easy during the day, but in the evening you have to suffer.
In fact, 2 sets for two is enough to fill you up, even if you are very hungry.
This may be a shock for visitors from Japan, but for San Diego the quality is quite good.
