Great little place with amazing coffee and great food options! The breakfast burrito was very good as well as the Acai bow.
Service was very friendly and welcoming.

The food (Banker's Hill sandwich and Scamble) was delicious. The staff was polite and welcoming. But bring your patience! It took nearly 15 minutes to place an order (5 people ahead of us) and 18 minutes to get the food. People who ordered after us received their food first.

Delicious! Bankers hill sandwich was tasty. Coconut latte was good, not too sweet. Cute place, patio seating.

This morning I had the best macchiato I’ve had in a very long time. They serve it the traditional way and I cannot put into words how awesome it was…the coffee was yummy and the barista was amazing. I’m flying back to SD just to get this coffee again =)

We ended up at Achilles Coffee Roasters @ The Rey after leaving the zoo. The original place we wanted to try was closed, and since we already paid the meter, we decided to walk over here since it was close by. We got there a few minutes before 2 PM, not realizing they closed at that time. One of their other locations showed different hours, so we didn’t expect them to be closing. They still took our order without saying anything about it, which we appreciated.
We ordered two regular matchas with oatmilk and vanilla syrup. Unfortunately, both drinks were really disappointing. They had barely any flavor, tasted watered down, and the oatmilk was bland. For $15.50 total, it felt overpriced for what we got. Also, there was a fly around the drink counter, which was a little off-putting.
We were really hoping for something refreshing, but the drinks just didn’t hit the mark. Wouldn’t come back based on this experience.

I’m not a coffee person and I wasn’t sure what exactly I wanted. I had some help by a nice worker named Amy. Very friendly recommended me the finest city drink. VERY YUMMY!

Coffee was really good. The bagels were fantastic and probably better than the coffee. Would definitely come again and try a few different things.
