Restaurant El Achiote

Please consider exploring other Mexican restaurants nearby; there are many delicious options within a 10-minute drive. I genuinely want you to have a good experience, so I advise against spending your hard-earned money here. However, if you do decide to try it, the cheese enchiladas and carne asada tacos are the only dishes I found to be decent. The fajitas could be good, but their quality seems inconsistent, so I can't confidently recommend them. Ed Fernandez is 1000x better, literally 10-minute drive away.

Food is pretty good here, but the service is hit and miss. I asked my waitress yesterday for water 3 times and it never came. She was quick to give me my bill with my options for a tip. Unfortunately I did tip her the standard 20% hoping my water would arrive, but it never did. Coffee was hard to come by too

My wife and I did come in for breakfast! She’s was craving Chilaquiles! And I did google closet one that was serving it and this restaurant popped up! And I’ve heard through the grapevine that this restaurant is good! Her chilaquiles was salty and the steak I order was supposed to be medium but end up being medium rare! But food wise its alright and the service is decent!

We arrived on a Sunday morning and it was pretty fast that we sat down and the hostess served me coffee and then the waiter came and we ordered a omelet with chorizo with potato on the side and refried beans. I also ordered French toast which was delicious. Great atmosphere, very attentive staff and the food was delicious.

I rarely write anything regarding any restaurant, but this time I felt the obligation, To do this.. I have to admit Daniel, the waiter and Carolina ,are above and beyond expectations of customer service..
I'm impressed of that Quality of food . The drinks are... extraordinary. !!!! Name of the place is Achiote.. it's in the top list of my Must.. visit place when I come back from Mexico every single time.
Keep up the great job!!! And service. My wife and I loved it. Thank you daniel and Carolina. You're making our day!.
