Covewood Restaurant

The wait staff pushed carts full of dishes through the dining room from 6:30pm to 8:30pm (our entire visit). Very disruptive and tacky.

Food was yummy, they served a good pisco sour (pretty rare outside of Peru!) We totally expected the final tab, but I don't appreciate the “5%” add on to cover costs listed at the bottom of the menu. Just be honest and raise the price of the menu items. Just a pet peeve of mine .

Brunch setting on Mother's Day was wonderful This restaurant inside the Misson Bay Resort is beautiful. View is amazing. Greater lamps are positioned quickly by servers with our question. Menu options are very very limited. One worker expect more than the few items for brunch. no basic waffle or pancakes! Who does that?! We reserved 1045 - asked prior since we dined there for 2 days prior of BREAKFAST items were also available. Sorry - not everyone wants duck as an option for breakfast lunch and dinner. They offer a lot of duck. There were NO OTHER places to eat on property for BREAKFAST at 1045. No one told us they stoped service regular breakfast at 10am. All the server dorks do was say sorry. They would not make anything related to breakfast ( waffles, pancakes..... ). The manger came over and apologized. He saw my young adult special needs son with a headset on disapponted expression. He was hungry and I was tru t told sorry no other options are available except trendy yougurt bowls, brunch board of breads and of course a dick entree and oh, salmon. However the manager said he'd talk to the chef. Guess what? The chef whipped up a batch of pancakes and side of bacon. There ya go! Hopefully this restaurant will use this as a learning opportunity. They have 3 dining outlets plus a pool snack bar. The 3 outlets WILL not cross sell. Kudos the the Sunday Brunch manager and the cuff

Food, drinks & view here were amazing! Service was quite slow and sporadic for a mellow Sunday afternoon but maybe it was just an understaffed day.

A favorite San Diego restaurant great food, views and service. Located at The Mission Bay Resort. We liked the breakfast menu. We ordered room service twice. The burger and truffle fries were awesome.

We have came here as the pre-party to our company holiday party 4 years in a row. 100% of the time their service, attitude and delivery is on point. We have requested Moses as our server for the last 3 years because I know he always will ensure that our large party is treated like their only customer. This year Moses and Juan served our party of 10 and as always we had an amazing time. That's not even talking about the delicious food that we have NEVER had to send a single thing back. Timely. Hot. Delicious. Kudos all around!!!

A really nice clean relaxing restaurant at a nice resort. The staff were top notch, really friendly and super helpful. I was not impressed with the food, unfortunately. The menu and prices led me to believe I was in for a real treat for breakfast. I was let down by the quality for the premium price I paid. Two star food at five star prices. Not very impressive.

We had an amazing experience dining at Cove pod Restaurant ! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. They were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us. Special thanks to Juan S., Juan L., Roy, and Kay. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and every dish we ordered was absolutely delicious—flavorful, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care.

The highlight, though, was truly the exceptional service. The team anticipated our needs, offered great recommendations, and made the entire experience memorable. We'll definitely be back, and we highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience with outstanding staff!

The food was amazing. My girlfriend loves the bolognese and I thoroughly enjoyed the halibut. Stephan and Juan also provided amazing service. We will be coming back.

The food was just mediocre. Service was ok. The quality and flavors were nothing special.Very overpriced for what they are serving.The best part was watching a dog next to us enjoy his meal.
