Although the waiter was great, both of the host and hostess were rude to many customers. I hope management can effect an attitude adjustment.

Brianna was wonderful. Friendly and helpful. My wife and I shared 2 apps and a Salad. Out of the four or so visit to Albert's over the past 18 months this has been our best. All of the food heading to tables looked great.

My husband and I always go for the garlic bread and a few drinks when we visit. The menu seems to have been changed and limited which we were not expecting but other than that, the service, ambiance, and overall experience is always great. The prices are a little high, but it's what you'd expect for sitting in the trees and with a waterfall and the amazing San Diego zoo as your background! It's definitely a must do if you're from out of town. We got there a little early and they even sat us early!

We love to have a bite at Alberts whenever we visit the zoo. The service is always spectacular and the ambiance is very nice. We only wish they had a bigger menu of items from which to choose. A really good hamburger would be a great addition as would be other things.

We made our reservation online for Dec 30, 2025, during " Jungle Bells", and our preferred outdoor table was ready as we arrived. Service was quick and friendly, and the food was very good, though the menu is somewhat limited. The ambience is very nice, and casual, appropriate for the setting, (the architecture is lovely), and suitable for families, though, with children and some adults it can occasionally be a bit noisy. Still, overall, the entire meal and experience was excellent and as we are members, we will most definitely be returning.

The food was just OK with a quite limited menu...no burgers or french dip any more. The bitrra tacos and accompanying broth were far too salty. Flat iron salad and garlic bread (always good) were the best options.

Albert's is a beautiful restaurant location the heart of the San Diego Zoo The four of us were seated at an outdoor table wheee we could hear the waterfall and nearby animals. The food and drink options were plentiful and the food was prepared perfectly and tasted great. The servers and wait staff are pleasant and attentive. The prices are reasonable and all goes towards maintaining the zoo's wildlife and plant life. We will definitely be back.

My family loved our meal and experience at Albert's. The service was wonderful and the food was delicious! The menu was not very big but had lots of options for different types of tastes. A little on the pricey side but the ambiance, food and service makes it a special treat to enjoy at the zoo.
