An oasis hidden in the San Diego Zoo. We were there at 11:15 on a Sunday and it was perfect. The brunch menu was available in addition to the regular menu, up until 12pm. We loved our queso birria tacos and crispy rice with ahi tuna. Service was excellent too.
It's easier if you make a reservation ahead of time. Only decent food alternative at the San Diego zoo. Pleasant location and fairly easy to find with indoor and outdoor seating.
Had a wonderful lunch on the patio, salmon , soup, ceaser salad all very good. Great experience
We had a Beautiful Easter Meal at Albert's Restaurant. We had Teresa as our server. She did a Phenomenal job of listening carefully and providing exactly what was requested. She kept our drinks filled regularly. The Chicken Picatta was prepared Perfectly, with requested Extra Lemon Beur Blanc. FABULOUS !!
Dine on the enclosed patio for a tree-top experience. Our meals were delicious as well as the extra sweet potato fries. Reserve ahead to avoid a wait. Worth every penny.
Reservation's didn't have a priority which was off putting to me. What was the point of a reservation? Apparently none. Waitress was great. Food was great! Loved the chocolate tort, glad we went there for lunch
Great experience, a nice location with great staff to take a break from the zoo. Only complain is that it's a bit over priced, but for good food, relaxing spot, and great service , worth it .
We enjoyed a nice late lunch at Albert's restaurant. We had never been there but were pleasantly surprised by it. Good food & drinks.

One of the nicest dining spots inside the San Diego Zoo. The staff were all cheerful and helpful. It took a while for the food to be served. The cheesy garlic bread was yummy but rich. The flat iron steak kale salad tasted healthy and surprisingly delicious, perhaps one of the best dishes we ordered. The pasta with chicken piccata and creamy sauce was quite good. The mac and cheese and fries in the kids menu were decent. Overall the quality of the food was better than what we expected from a restaurant inside the zoo. The price was on the higher end compared to the other places inside the zoo, but it was a great dining experience for us, especially on a rainy and chilly winter day.

Waited for 45 minutes to get a table. Then waited another 15 mins to place order. Just to be told they were missing primary meal items for a very limited meal selection of the most random foods. Don't waste your time and get something easy from other vendors/shops!

The hostess, Sarah, was very rude and unwelcoming.
Our server was nice though. Food is tasteless.

Great spot to eat at within the zoo! There were a few vegetarian options. We got the riced cauliflower fried rice and the soup. The vegetarian soup was creamy and wonderful and was definitely a highlight for me. The folks at the restaurant are all friendly and welcoming.
