Great food. Server was very kind. As the restaurant filled up, it got pretty loud. The reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is that I felt a little rushed. They were asking about our entree order when we had just received our appetizer. But otherwise, great place
Total hidden gem! I had an amazing time celebrating my anniversary with my husband. The team was amazing, the food was soOoo delicious, and the whole vibe of the place was just top notch. We had the mussels and a pepperoni pizza as an appetizer and they were both so delicious. My husband ordered the chicken piccata and i got the pink penne pasta, both so flavorful and great portions too. We were honestly stuffed after our dinner, but they were so sweet and kind to give us a tiramisu dessert and a hand written anniversary card. It was such a sweet and special detail on their end. The tiramisu was so delicious and i don't know how we did it but we ate it all lol the card was just so nice and it made our whole evening feel extra special. Thank you Alexanders for making our wedding anniversary such a memorable one ❤️
Good food and friendly service. We enjoyed the chicken piccata and the baked vodka Bolognese. Both were flavorful and aromatic. The only thing I'll mention is cable real estate is very tight, not a lot of room to move things around. Also, I know it's very European, but I don't care for the bench seating paradigm. I would like it to be a bit more private. But all in all, I've been there before and I'll go back again.
This is a charming spot and has become one of my favorites. The $8 pasta is a bit misleading since you have to pay significantly more to put anything on it, but it's always cooked perfectly and the sauces and other topping options are delish. Just don't go expecting a “deal”. The $5 wine is exactly as advertised though! They had a Pinot Grigio tonight - divine! See you soon, Alexander's!
I've been coming to Alexander's for the last three years and have always spoken so highly of this restaurant to others. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was disappointing. They changed the menu and removed some of the best items that made this place special. While the server was friendly, the food took a long time to come out—and when it finally did, it was cold. The restaurant wasn't even busy, which made it more frustrating. Sad to say, I don't think I'll be returning
We went on Tuesday $8 pasta night, it was a great deal with good size portions. Quick and kind service. $5 glasses of wine, you can't go wrong.
The short rib lasagna was excellent. One diner also raved about the canneloni. That marinara sauce was so very tasty!
I went on one of their pasta nights and it exceeded my expectations love the staff, and the atmosphere. Pasta was good for the price
The restaurant is amazing with a nice atmosphere, lights and song. The Tuesday pasta it was a really great experience, the food was perfect and delicious. I totally recommend it.
It was my birthday, and my best friend and I went to Pasta Tuesdays! we had an amazing and kind server who went above and beyond! the kitchen forgot to put meat sauce on my pasta, but I insisted it was fine since my pasta was still amazing tasting! the restaurant manager still came over to confirm if I was sure I didn't want to at least take the correct order home and I said no worries I do not! when we got the bill the waiter comped several items which was totally unexpected but very appreciated!!🥰

I did not get paid I did not get free this si the best place I have EVER eaten and I never write reviews. order the penne pasta and the filete appardelle. to die for the draft Pilsner is so refreshing cheers
Food was great! The entrees were a good portion and all the onces we ordered were delicious. We had a party of 6 and were celebrating an engagement. Our server was not very friendly and seemed bothered by any requests or questions we had. She didn't care at all that we were celebrating a special occasion and didn't even acknowledge it.
Over all it was a good experience the host seating us was clearly agitated and a bit short with us. We all have a bad day. The servers were attentive and very helpful. The meal was wonderful. I will definitely go back for the regular menu not on a Tuesday.
Food was delicious, ambiance was wonderful! We went on a very hot humid night and the back patio was pretty warm with no airflow. Other than that it was a great time with amazing food. Would definitely come back!
Great food, great service. However it is tiny and it feels cramped. They do the most with the space they have. But my date and I got this tiny square table (that had uneven legs and rocked back and forth anytime either of us put any weight on our side). Between wadrinks, appetizer, bread, and our phones, the table barely had any room for us. We wanted to hold each others hands as we talked, and we had to move some of the table elements, such as the flowers and the candles, to make space. Good atmosphere, seems semi formal but you had some people dressed a bit casual. I like the movie playing on the wall outside. Food was excellent and filling with portions that are satisfying. Pricey. Date for 2 with appetizer, 1 drink each, and food cost $120 including tip. 50/50 on whether we will go again.
