I love this place. Best carne asada fries for the price and amount of food for your dollar. I always order a side of flour tortilla. Sometimes, we roll some of the fries into a burrito, and other times, it's good the next day to wrap up leftover breakfast stuff on the go. I also enjoy that they have so many salsa choices, and they dont charge extra for it. Thanks for the great service and food.

A great place to go if you are hungry. The food is about an A-minus, and there's a lot of it and it's not too expensive. Nice that they're open late and usually not super crowded!

Best taco shop in poway , sorry for the half eaten food it looked better but it was to delicious to wait. Perfect staff they are friendly helpful and fast I love this taco shop

Yes. Have been? Coming here. On and off? For years and like any talk of shop Alvaros Is your typical on the wall mom and pop taco shop.and also like any other taco shop? They have their strong points and that's a strong porch when it comes to the food that they serve the role tacos in the shed should be tacos. Are awesome? The corners out of fries is probably one of the best I've had in any taco Shops,and the burritos here are kind of a hitter miss they California Brito and the carnival burrito and they Carney saw the egg and cheese. Breakfast breed all are all decent if you need her add sour cream or guacamole to it tell them to put just a little bit otherwise it gets. Too much and it starts dripping where that's all you taste.

Great food, quick service and never had any issues. The prices are great compared to some of the other local establishments. Everything always tastes fresh and I have never left unsatisfied. California Burritos are great.

I'm not a huge fan of their food, but they're passable. They advertise they are open until midnight. I went out of my way to go there tonight. I pull up around 11:30 and all their lights are on. I wait at the drive thru speaker for at least a minute. No one says a thing. I pull through and see guys in there. I knock on the window. I whistle. I honk my horn. These guys wouldn't even face me that they're closing down a half hour early, and on top of it, leave no sign of that so people waste their time.Do better and at least fess up that you lied about your hours. Adios, Alvaro! Your food was never that great to start with and after service like that, forget it.,.Never again!

This establishment rips people off! Twice this week I ordered sour cream snd guac to be added to my burrito and both times they didn’t add it but had no problem charging me for it! Either they have an extreme lack of communication or they are purposely being deceptive in order to pinch pennies. They even wrote “ guac” on the wrapper of my burrito to differentiate my burrito, yet it did not have any guac or sour cream inside. I checked the receipt before driving away and saw the guac and sour cream charged. However, when I got home the burrito was dry, with burned meat, no guac or sour cream and very minimal cheese.
