Our service was slow, our pizza served cold and practically thrown on our table. The wine and the tiramisu were the best parts of the meal. The salads were good but much too big for one person and should have been split.

Quaint spot hidden in PB. Heard about this place for awhile so the wife and I finally tried it. Everything was delicious! Some of the best pizza I've ever had. Definitely going back.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We actually arrived 15 minutes before they opened but they still invited us to come and relax while they finished prepping to open. They took time to discuss menu options and wines so we could make the best choices. The wine selection was outstanding. We did the wine geek flight and received a very good rundown about each wine. The food was fresh and delicious. The quality of the ingredients was evident but it still came out quickly. Will definitely be going back when I return to San Diego.

We really just love the simplicity of the experience, but all of the food options and wonderful flavors are way more than simple. The staff is very friendly and accommodating! We are really glad to have this spot in our neighborhood.

Attractive dining room. Our burrata/cucumber salad and pizza were well presented and tasty except the pizza's crust was burned. Their thin crust pizzas have a high dough edge which should be flattened out to prevent burning. Prices were a bit on the high side. Service was marginal. Even with few other diners we had to wait too long to order drinks and food and to pay. Our server seemed weird, interrupting our conversation to ask how things were going and repeatedly calling us "hey guys." Would have preferred polite, Italian-style service that was attentive without being intrusive. I would recommend this restaurant with caveats.
I've always loved this pizza spot and they accommodated my group of 15 well.ni was able to call an hour before arriving so by time we arrived, the food was ready to eat so we didn't have to wait around for a while till it was finished. The burrata prosciutto pizza is by far my favorite, and their chili oil is amazing on the pizzas as well. Stop by if you get the chance!

Ambrogio was a very pleasant surprise. I have been to other restaurants in that same space, but none of them have been as good as Ambrogio. The price point is also excellent. The space has been remodeled since I was last there into a very ambient indoor space and a lovely outdoor space with lots of heaters. A high school friend came visiting and it turns out he is vegan. Has been for 30 years. I searched for the best vegan restaurant in San Diego and Ambrogio came up. He was thrilled with the vegan offerings and I was thrilled that there were omnivore offerings as well and a nice wine selection. I highly recommend Ambrogio.

Finally had the opportunity to try this place. Very good Milan style pizzas. Very thin crust and limited cheese. We ordered several different types and they were all exceptional. Will definitely be going back.
