Probably the WORST Mexican food we had in San Diego. Waited 20 minutes for a table and another 20 for the server to come over. $2.95 for chips and salsa when every other restaurant gives it complimentary.

Great restaurant. Great service. Food is great and very tasty. They decorate for every holiday and play music. Highly recommended. I got the Carne asada platter. It comes with 3 corn or flower tortillas. Asada is very tender and flavorful. My husband & I have been here multiple times since we only stay at The King's Inn (the restaurant is attached to it) when visiting San Diego.

I’ve had to travel to San Diego on a monthly basis from San Jose for years and love to stay at the Kings Inn and eat at the Amigo Spot. It’s probably the best Mexican food I’ve ever had and there’s a lot of good Mexican food in San Diego! I especially love the Enchilada Suizas and the beans have a wonderful smoky taste. Margaritas are great too! Friendly staff, consistent good quality food and drinks and great service!

The food was good. They closed earlier so we had to take it to go. $3.50 for three extra tortillas is a little too expensive, but otherwise, the food was worth it.

The food was very tasty and the price-performance ratio was great. We would be happy to come back at any time.

Oh my goodness that was good! I had the steak asada plate. It came with three tortillas that tasted homemade. Deeeelicious! I ordered it through the Yelp page, it routed me to grub hub, I ordered and paid and it was ready in 15 minutes. Excellent!

Great Taco Tuesday!! More variety of tacos than most places. Lots of free parking, and decent prices. Love Taco Tuesday here.

As we stayed in the Kings Inn hotel, this was actually the only possibility to have dinner without taking the car. They tried their best to give you the feeling that you are in Mexico, but the decor is now a bit out dated. The menu has a lot of choices and maybe I did not pick the right thing, but I was not a fan. We ate here twice and both times I wrote in my travel dairy, food is not good. Unfortunately I do not recommend this place.
