I had a great experience with Anjapaar San Diego as the caterer for my wedding. Ramesh took care of everything and even showed up personally at the venue to ensure everything went smoothly. The variety of curries was fantastic, and we received countless compliments from guests of all backgrounds, who said it was the best wedding food they’d ever had. His attention to detail and the care he put into the service were truly evident. I highly recommend this restaurant!

We went for dinner and tried their South Indian thali, served on a banana leaf which I had never seen in the South Indian restaurants in San Diego. It was my first time eating from a banana leaf and it did not disappoint!

The food taste and quality was yummy. Perfect spice level even for a non Indian person. They asked me my spice level and made it how I asked.

The manager of the place was also our waiter and he took great care of us. Since it was my first time here he explained all about South Indian food and how to eat the different dishes. Outstanding and warm customer service. Super clean and nice bathrooms which is a huge plus especially when eating with your hands. Friendly to meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans so you can bring a mixed group of people with no issues. I’ll be returning soon to try more of their menu!

The service was very very poor.
We have to ask ourselves for water spoons and napkins.
Food was very late and one family left infront of us without eating.
Food was very poor quality and overpriced.
My son ordered chicken biryani and he told me mom there was not any pieces of meat in his biryani
I will never recommend this restaurant to anyone and never going to visit again.

Won’t recommend. Had a dinner on one of week day nights. Received chicken 65 fried with old fish oil ended up with worst taste I have ever had. Mango lassi doesn’t taste good. Chicken Briyani was ok. Highly disappointed overall with Anjappar.

Really enjoyed the chicken tikka masala, and it was at just the right level of spiciness for me. They really tried to accommodate getting the spiciness level right for what the customer wants

Amazing Food and Exceptional Service!

I recently dined at Anjappar in San Diego, and it was a fantastic experience. The food was flavorful, authentic, and truly delicious. From the rich curries to the perfectly cooked Mutton Biriyani, everything was spot on.

What made the day even better was the wonderful service. Kishore, who served us, was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. His warm hospitality really enhanced the dining experience. Kudos to Kishore for going above and beyond!
