Small, hole-in-the-wall kind of place. Visited on a Friday around 2pm. It was mostly empty I ordered two cheese enchiladas with rice and beans. Food came out quick and was ok, not the greatest but not bad. The music they had playing was loud and from where I sat, you can hear someone with a cleaver just hitting over and over and over. I'm guessing the music was loud enough to be heard over the cutting/cleavering because both were extremely loud.I like that they give you a big thing of salsa (both red and green) when you dine in.

I give 1 star over all due to the service of 2 ladies They don't answer the phone and or pick it up and hang it up right away or just leave it off the hook. 2nd the same ladies when placing order over the phone they rush you like kinda tell you call back when ready. Overall the food is good but those ladies need to go if you want your customers to come back

Given the number of positive reviews and the 4.3 star rating, we thought we’d give it a whirl. Sad to say we won’t be back. We’ve had worse, but there was nothing that blew our socks off to bring us back. The tortillas were good, but the carne asada did not have any flavor. The beans are terrible; very chunky, light-colored, and no flavor. The rolled tacos were ok. Carne asada fries are a good portion but useless if the meat has zero flavor. Everything slightly below mediocre. Meh.

If you asked me a year ago what I thought of Armando's, I would've given it 5 stars for the friendly staff, quick and tasty food, and the convenience of it being open 24/7. Unfortunately as of recently I can't say that I feel the same. About a month ago, I went in and ordered carne asada fries with no guacamole. When I got my fries, they had guac on them. No big deal, maybe they misheard me. I went back inside and was able to get new ones (with a few annoyed looks from the cashier but whatever). Then yesterday, the same thing happened. I ordered fries with no guac and when they came out, sure enough, they had guacamole on them. When I went back in with my receipt and told them I didn't want guac, I was told that the fries come with guacamole, they can't take it off, and there's nothing I or they could do. They didn't offer any kind of resolution like new food or a refund; just told me too bad and sent me on my way. I ended up just giving my food to a homeless guy outside but I was shocked at how rude they were and still don't understand why it's so difficult to just not put one ingredient on the plate. Luckily I'm not allergic to guacamole, I just don't like it. But I can't imagine how difficult of a situation this would be to someone who does have an allergy and needs their food to be modified. I feel like this blatant disrespect is completely unprofessional and customers should never be made to feel like they're an inconvenience for simply asking them to exclude one ingredient. While I did love this place before, I'd much rather go to Jilberto's from now on since it's down the street, the food is just as good, and the employees are actually kind and care about their customer's experiences.

Finally Armando's taco shop is letting costumers eat at the shop . We weren't unable to eat at the shop for almost 2-3 yrs or so maybe more ever since the corona virus. Well now you are allowed to sit down and eat your food comfortably not only that food is delicious and I always ask for my fries to be crispier on the outside and tender in the inside and they do just that . Love yum carne asada fries the bomb

One of the good ones left standing. Roberto's keep letting me down but this spot has been consistent. Armando's is open 24 hours and the portion sizes are bigger than anywhere else. Service is not very good sometimes but their food makes up for it.
