This hotel restaurant is great! The receptionist was very attentive took his right to our seat. They came right away and when I mean right away right away and filled our water up. Immediately after the server came over and asked us what we wanted to drink and then we ordered. We got our entrées and then we decided to get some dessert. Very good for a hotel restaurant. Thank you!!

Had not been here in a few years and we were all very happy to find the sushi bar is still here and the food was great!

They had exceptional customer service and made my daughter (4 years old) feel so important. She raved about it for days
The Atmosphere was great! The service was good but the food was bland and dry. I ordered the $50 ribeye medium rare but it came out well done with no flavor. My wife ordered the ravioli and it also had no flavor.

Took the family here for a birthday dinner. The sushi is fresh, especially the Toro. Service was exceptional, and they also catered to my 3 year old daughter. Will definitely be back if I'm in the area.
First of all our server had no clue about the menu Very difficult to have some water or a refill Never gave us napkins...we ended up picking up from a nearby table Also server was very rude and impatient since we haven't seen our friends in a long while and the server wasn't having it.....basically making us order when he said to. Never coming back to this place EVER!!!!!
Service (waitress) was good. Very kind and made sure we were taken care of. Food was good and decently priced. Only issue was the timing of the food. By the time I received my food, my wife was already done with her meal, so I ended up rushing eating my meal.
I do not recommend Arterra. Hotel restaurants have been improving but not this one - and it is a nice hotel. The cioppino was basically inedible except for the shrimp, which was good. The Caesar salad was soggy. There are at least 10 excellent restaurants in Del Mar and another 10 pretty good ones. This isn't one of them.
Have eaten here many many times. Great vibe. Lovely service and delicious food.

The food staff and service not only met but exceeded our expectations. The menu was creative and extremely fairly priced. From the chefs sushi tasting to the rib steak beyond what a hotel restaurant typically offers. Jose, Ken, Mindy & Chris went above and beyond to ensure world class service during our short stay. Can not wait to return.
Chris, our server was outstanding, the entire service team was top notch, made the evening extra special.
Great little spot for happy hour with God drinks and food. Even live music on Weds!
