The egg sando was delicious - the bread had a bounce to it when you bit into it, which is a weird description but as close as I can get. It was absolutely delicious, and the cucumbers sealed its success.
Saw another review that was mad about not getting a bag- only after suggesting the food was bad... sounds like sour grapes, because I had the same bread on the sandwich and it was fantastic.
Royal Tea Milk latte was very good- nothing was bitter about it, though there was a distinct black tea flavor.
Really enjoyed the melon pan I had here. Line took a bit but it moved consistently.

I'm sorry to say this place really did a bad job with customer service after I placed my order, which is a pity, as they started off so well. After the order was placed, they didn't deliver it, and when I enquired, the person said she'd check, then kept scrubbing the counter, and no applogy was given for the non-delivery. Kinda ruined my mood. It was also quite expensive for a simple sandwhich, coffee and crossant.

I had a very disappointing experience at this café. The service was extremely poor. After buying bread, I had to ask for a bag myself, and the staff handed it over with obvious impatience. When I ordered two coffees to go, they just looked at me as if I should pack it myself, and still didn’t provide a bag.
As for the food and drinks, the quality was also underwhelming. The latte tasted bitter, and the milk didn’t seem fresh or of good quality — honestly, I can make a better one at home. The Japanese milk toast was dry and bland, far from what I expected.
I really don’t understand how such poor service and mediocre quality can be acceptable. I will never return, and I’ll strongly discourage my friends from going as well.

Disappointed that there wasn't much choice for baked items. It was Labor Day weekend and they didn't make much items. Had the last bakery item left.... chocolate croissant. My kids loved it. I was looking for the matcha croissant. I did order the matcha latte. My son had The oreo sundae. He enjoyed it.

The pastries look and taste amazing! They chocolate soft serve was rich and creamy, however the Hokkaido milk soft serve was a little icy. Nevertheless it hit the spot!
Really good pastries!
My favorite is Earl Grey Melon Pan!

The food at ASA Bakery is fabulous — the baked goods taste like they were made by the gods. Unfortunately, the customer service didn’t live up to the same standard.
I came for the first time on a weekend around 11:30–12, and maybe that was my mistake. It was extremely loud inside, which made it hard to communicate. I even had to ask if I could speak to the worker at the register, but instead of helping me, she passed me off to her coworker, who was also soft-spoken. I’ve worked in the restaurant biz for years and know she handed me off because she didn’t wanna deal with me.
To be fair, I do have tinnitus, and while I usually wear an AirPod with active listening on to override the constant ringing in my ear, it was still really difficult to hear — even after I took it out. The combination of noise, rushed service, and not being heard left me feeling overwhelmed and unwelcome.
The food really is phenomenal, so maybe weekdays are a better time to visit. For other veterans or anyone dealing with hearing problems, I’d suggest ordering ahead to avoid the stress. I know I’ll probably do that if I give it another try.
PLEASE bring the mentaiko baguette back I'M BEGGING YOU
The new mentaiko bread tastes like a basic westernized baked good because the potato and cheese overpower the mentaiko flavor; it just isn't the same as the baguette! It was glorious and I used to get three every time I go!! I will do anything to have it back on the menu, PLEASE!
Other than that, vibes and lighting are very nice, service is friendly, drinks are not the best but decent, and their savory goods are great! Also their plastic cutlery is not strong enough to cut through many of the breads, so it gets pretty annoying to eat sometimes.
Nice little place with a wide range of Japanese traditional breads and desserts.
I came here on the recommendation of one of the most respectful teachers.
I ordered a sausage bread, a cream bread, and a normal custard pudding. The breads tasted like the same as the breads in Japan. Because I heard that the chef is from Japan.
On the other hand, the custard pudding was extremely delicious. To tell the truth, I’m super fussy about puddings, but this was so good I had nothing to say.
I strongly recommend the custard pudding if you are an avid pudding fan!
Lovely, the vibes are good and the matcha is top tier 😘
