Expensive food not up to par. 20 bucks for a burrito? Are you kidding me!?
Response to owner's response:
My comment that your food was not up to par was a dig on your terrible food. I was trying to be nice but since you want me to elaborate I will...The spices were not apparent; the tortilla was dry and unevenly cooked, the meat was mediocre, the sauces provided were not hot, watery and gross. Taco Bell is better than this place.
And your comment about how "expensive" things have gotten...Yeah, I can go to any other burrito place that's 10 times better and pay 12 bucks. So quit it with your prices are higher bull, you're just trying to rip off the average American with your terrible food. Go to TJ, takes some lessons, and make some real food and lower your prices.

Awful experience. Paid $20 for 3 small street tacos and a vending drink and they still made me wait almost half an hour to get it. Avoid if you can and the tacos tasted like they used no seasoning

110% recommended for tj style tacos! The restaurant itself is very comfortable and all of the employees are super nice. My family and I drive from east county just for these tacos and so worth it .

TJ style but not as good as TJ Tacos. Meat was not as flavorful. Corn tortillas were a bit tough and my daughter commented that hers seemed stale. Not sure if the “avocado” sauce had any avocado in it—was a bit unnaturally fluorescent green. Salsa, grilled onions, grilled chiles and lime wedges were included.

The best tacos in North County! I really don't want o write this review because I do not want more people to know about this amazing taco shop. But... I need to do the right thing and rate them and help the people find the best tacos north of the 8 freeway.
I have been here a few times and always get the queso birria tacos with either adobada, Pollo, or carne along side. The tacos are small but cheap and flavorful. I can probably eat 10 but usually stick to 3 or 4. The meat is always tender and flavorful. They have the right balance of meat to toppings. Come check this place out. One time, that's it. LOL

Hidden gem in Rancho Bernardo! The prices are pretty good for the amount you get, and all the tacos are flavorful. The adobada was my favorite.
