The beef and lamb kabobs are the best in SD ..... we've been to a dozen Mediterranean restaurants and this Boba Kabob off MiraMar road trims and preps it cuts the best. No fat or grisle to be found.

You won't be disappointed coming here :)

Food is good. I ordered the shawarma plate and it was good. I ordered it spicy and I thought it was going to have a spicy sauce but they just added crushed peppers. I wish the white sauce was more as it's not enough for the amount of food you get. Overall the wraps are my fav. Will stick with that for the future

Baba Kabob in San Diego is an absolute gem for anyone craving delicious and authentic Afghani food. The flavors are rich, the portions generous, and the prices are very reasonable. You can really tell they put care and tradition into every dish.

One item you must try is the Potato Bolani – crispy on the outside, perfectly spiced on the inside, and served with tasty chutney. It’s easily one of the best I’ve had anywhere.

The kebabs are juicy and tender, the rice is fragrant and fluffy, and the sides are always fresh. Whether you’re dining in or taking out, the experience is consistently great.

Plenty of available parking makes it even more convenient, and the staff are warm and welcoming.

Highly recommend for a satisfying and authentic Afghani meal. Definitely going back!

This is my go to kabob spot in the area. Their Chicken kabob is hands down one of the best. It's tender, juicy and fresh. Their lamb and beef kabob doesn't hit the same level, but not bad either. You can customize the order which is a bonus. Friendly service and overall a great spot.

Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. When I kindly mentioned to the staff that the bolani was too spicy, I simply suggested that, in the future, they could offer an option to have the chili on the side or allow customers to choose their spice level. I approached the situation with respect and intended to give helpful feedback.

However, the owner responded in an extremely harsh and dismissive manner. Instead of being open to constructive criticism, he spoke to me rudely and with clear disrespect. As a paying customer, I expected at least a basic level of courtesy, but sadly that was not the case.

In addition, the food was served on foam plates, which is not only unprofessional for a dine-in experience but also raises health and environmental concerns.

Good food should be paired with good service. Unfortunately, due to the disrespectful attitude and poor customer care, I will not be returning—and I wouldn’t recommend this place to others.

Been coming here for a few years now and I'm always impressed with both the food and the service. I love their balance of flavors in the typical items, and they have some interesting specials like the bolani and an array of sweets and snacks at the front counter too. Their prices are very fair and the portions are generous too.

Also worth noting is the family-run but very professional atmosphere that they foster. Feels like I'm visiting a great friend or family who loves to host whenever I drop by, which is a great sign.

Kabob was stinky and is literally waste. From restaurant to the trash can . Ordered 5 conbos and given only 2 napkins. Very unprofessional customer service . 0 outta 10 not recommended
