i went to one of the locations in Hong Kong and the vegan dumplings/potstickers were exactly the same as they are here in san diego! not that many vegan options but the dumplings were good Updated from previous review on 2025-07-07

I think we need more premium quick service ethnic restaurants like this one! Ambiance is simple, white, and clean. You're for the food, not for a dance club environment. Good tasty Taiwanese dumplings that have a delightful crunch at the bottom, but soft and chewy up top, and filled with a lovely blend of pork, cabbage, onion, and gawd knows what else. Not the best dumplings ever, but delicious! The wonton soup was simple, hot and savory, packed with wontons, and satisfying....

Beef noodle soup is much better than DTF's even though it is not strictly traditional. Spicy wonton is also very tasty. This is my go-to restaurant. They don't demand tips at all.
