Recent Reviews

Nice restaurant that serves Persian food in the downtown area. Across the street from the Balboa Theatre. Prompt service and the food is always very good. Alcohol is pretty pricey, though. Consider imbibing before or after your meal (but don't drive your car in either case).

Returning to this lively restaurant for a second time. Celebrated Father's Day. What a classy restaurant. Lovely ambiance, professional service and amazing food. This time we tried different dishes and they were so tasty. We definitely recommend their stew trio if you want to try each of their individual stew. We also tried their Koobideh, which is great if you like meat. The only thing we recommend is for the dishes to come with more veggies. Rice is lovely but with a combo...

We've been eating at Bandar since 1998! Always amazing food and service. My favorite is the eggplant appetizer, chicken kebab plate and green salad! Best place to eat before a show at the Balboa theater!
