The drunken noodles were incredible. Service was a little slower than expected but the food was delicious and the restaurant was really busy at the time we went!

No questions asked, this is one of the Best, if not THE Best, Thai restaurants in San Diego by far. Everything was a hit, check the after-math photo.

I was surprised to find this amazing Thai spot when visiting San Diego. I would love to find a spot like this back home. We ordered a large Tom Yum soup, Musman Curry with tofu, and Pad Thai with chicken. All dishes were superb. One wonderful waitress was taking care of all the tables on a Monday evening. She was attentive, quick, and was fantastic. Great service and no complaints. There was a small parking lot in the front of the restaurant. The colorful decor was quaint and a quirky.

Great Thai food. Got the jungle curry and sweet and sour stir fry, both were great. Spicy level was perfect Good flavors.

Awesome food and service. The curry and wings are some of our favorites. Price is good especially for how much food you get.

First time at this place and their noodles are so good! Definitely will be returning to try their other dishes. Restaurant was not busy when we came on a Friday evening!

Good was amazing! Had to take the rest for left overs. Coming back for sure! We had yellow curry and drunken noodles .

So delicious! The soup that comes with the lunch special knocked my socks off. The prices are great. Outstanding noodles. Friendly, efficient service. Feels like eating at a little hole in the wall on a Thai island, except with real chairs (iykyk). I'll be back.

A lot of Thai restaurants lower the spice level to better accommodate the American standards. As a SouthEast Asian, that's usually a disappointment. However, at Bangkok Spices they bring the heat! The drunken noodles spice level 10 minimum is always a hit. The Tom Yum and curry here is equally delicious. I like that you can taste all the authentic flavors and nothing seems watered down. Prices are on average for a Thai restaurant and the portions are decent.

Ordered pickup (called in by phone) of the fresh spring rolls, Penang curry, and cashew chicken—everything was phenomenal!! Large portions and amazing flavor, reasonable price, too. I like a bit of heat and spice level 5 was good, could have gone higher if I wanted an extra kick. My husband and I both really enjoyed our dinners and we will be back!

It wasn't busy at all at 11 am.Service was prompt and polite we sat while we looked over the menu, and it was done within 10 minutes. The restaurant was clean and decorated with Thai culture and flair. The curry was thick and delicious. The spring rolls were perfect, not soaked in oil or hard. Came with plastic ware and napkins, which I can't seem to get anywhere lately and sometimes even when I ask.Not including the spring rolls I spent 15 dollars on the curry and it came with the decent sized steamed rice.

My judgement of a Thai food spot is usually based off appetizers and the pad Thai. I tried one appetizer, it was the little beef jerky things. so delicious. they did not make it home. The pad Thai, on the other hand, was sub par. no spice, and I don't know if the chicken comes with tofu as a standard or if I was just there before they closed. but instead of all chicken, it was a mix of chicken and tofu without any spice
