Excellent customer service. Accidentally ordered a Large Pepper instead of a Large Pepperoni . Phone operator and staff understood my mistake and offered to make the pizza I intended To order. I already loved this place for their delicious pizza, but their customer service is unbeatable. They made my night.

I’ve been doing a test on margarita pizza at all of the restaurants in gaslamp and little Italy. The size of the pizza was very good, but the interior of the pizza was not cooked properly or completely at all. Also, I didn’t feel there was enough basil.
Very well prepared Pizza. We got it to go. The family size is very generous. Thin crust pizza. The potato bacon is exotic but worth the try.

I was thrilled when I saw that my new apartment is a five minute walk from Basic Bar. The pizzas are huge and they’re delicious. The vibe is very chill, pool tables inside and a large patio outside.
Parking: There is a parking garage across Tenth Ave, but I recommend taking the trolley to Park and Market to avoid the hassle of parking.

I recently visited Basic bar pizza and had an incredibly disappointing experience. The service was downright awful. Our waiter was extremely rude and dismissive, making us feel unwelcome from the moment we sat down. She seemed annoyed whenever we asked for anything, and his attitude really put a damper on the entire meal.
The food might have been decent, but it was hard to enjoy given the poor service. I expect a basic level of courtesy when dining out, and this place failed to deliver. I would not recommend basic to anyone looking for a pleasant dining experience. There are plenty of other restaurants that offer both good food and respectful service.

Overall it was really good. You can make your pizza with different dough and toppings, the only topping they didn’t have and we really like as a family was pineapple (don’t judge). The ingredients were really generous, sauce and cheese were so good. The pizza was ready really fast. The only thing I can say I didn’t like was that the dining table outside was a little dirty and asked for it to be cleaned and they didn’t did a great job, you could still see the dried juice… oh well I would definitely will return and be a bit more vocal about the table cleaning .
This was a great place to have an off property get together with friends. They took good care of us and I had a great time!
