Went for the $1.70 scoop special that Baskin Robbins has on every month with a 31. At the register it was rung up as the regular price. When I asked about the 31st of the month special I was told they aren't doing that for awhile because of covid. However, they still had the sign on the front door advertising the $1.70/scoop deal. Employee was not willing to honor the advertised price. Very disappointing customer service.
Update: after being told 2 weeks ago they would be honoring the $1.70/scoop deal on March 31st.. there was a sign on the door upon arrival. The entire store was empty ?
Bad business! We won't be back
Update 07/31/2021: So went again today because we still have a gift card balance. Sign on door and by the cash register reads 31% off on the 31st. We got charged full price, when we questioned it we where told by the employee's that their boss said they were not to give the discount unless the customer requests it before they ring it up on the cash register. After other patrons inside overheard what was going on and started protesting along with us...only then did we get a refund for the discount we were owed! Very shady business practices... shameful!

Did not receive part of order. Tried calling but mailbox is full so no way to call them. This has happened before and grubhub will refund the missing item but that means I will have to order again and pay all the added costs. This is closest location but time to change to Balboa location . Poor management at Clairemont Drive so my advice is avoid them if you can.

How hard is it to mess up ice cream???Oreo cold brew, love potion and old fashioned butter pecan. I got regular oreo, love potion and a frost bite pecan. I picked the wrong BR thats for sure!!! My question is can the kids read the orders?

Unfortunately, this is understaffed they never ever answer their phone. It always takes forever and their servers are completely rude.

So I came into the store to order a milkshake the girl working told me sorry it’s the end of the night I’m not making milkshakes . I asked her why and she responded it’s the end of the night we are out of milk . I felt the moment I walked in mind u it was 30 min before closing that she just didn’t want to make the milk shake . So again I asked her how long has she been out of milk cause she should have put a sign up saying sorry no milk or something . Anyhow very disappointed.

DO NOT ORDER a cake from this location. I ordered an ice cream cake online 13 days before my husband's birthday. It was supposed to be ready at 5pm on his birthday. I got to the store around 5:20pm and they didn't have the cake. They asked me for a receipt and I showed them my email confirmation. They weren't empathic at all. The person working the counter kept going in the back to talk to someone. They would be back there for awhile keeping me waiting and continued to come back with no new information. They didn't apologize or care that they didn't have my order. They also didn't refund me. I called headquarters and they can't refund me it has to be the store. I still haven't received any contact or a refund from the store.

We didn't get what we paid for. After a trip to San Diego, we wanted to end the day with ice cream and stopped by this BR. We ordered two ice creams and a chocolate milkshake. When my son took his order, it turned out to be not chocolate and we asked to change it. The rude woman Andrea took this other milkshake and without a word threw it in trash and said that if we want a chocolate one, we have to pay again. What? We didn't get our order, we paid them $20 plus tips and ended up with nothing. When I tried to get our order, this woman laughed in my face and asked for more money. As a result, the child was left without a milkshake, and I just gave them money for free. Very disappointing.

Came in to buy a scoop or two, had no idea what I was in the mood for. Was told by the cashier I could only try 3 samples, which none tasted good anyway. Bad customer service on business policy part. I've worked in 2 different ice cream stores before, samples is the best way to keep loyal customers and get new ones. Not going back unless Baskin stop acting so greedy.

Smallest scoop of Ice Cream for $4! The other Baskin Robbins I've been to fill the cup. This BR is lame!

I tied to call in a order and they said you have to come in, and when I go into the store, I’m the only person there and it takes almost 15 minutes to make a simple milkshake, this is ridiculous ?
