Spent a lot of money on a cookie cake and it was freezer burned and old that we all took a bit and ended up throwing out. Would not recommend the cakes. Ice cream is good when we go there for cones. Although I’m mad about the cake so we probably won’t go back

Walked there for an ice cream cone early evening. One customer ahead of us (family of five). The first thing we noticed was blaring static music from an FM station that quickly turned into louder insane radio ads. Only one speaker was working, so they had turned it way up, overdriving the speaker. We first signaled an employee decorating a cake about the music being so loud. She ignored us. Then we mentioned it to the other employee scoping ice cream. He said he just got there five minutes before and the music was blaring. We asked if he could turn it down and he said only the manager could. Hmmm.

After waiting a frustrating 10 minutes for service (while the other employee decorated a cake and did her best to ignore us) we asked again. Again he went into the other room and talked to the cake decorator and came back and said he can’t turn it down. We listened to static laden ads for IBS and a class action request for boys who were sexually abused in San Diego. Nice.

Finally she turned it down as we ordered. But as we were leaving she turned it back up! Ok - whatever. Somebody needs to tell these guys that they’re in the service business. I’ll drive to Carmel Mountain from now on.

We did one of the beach cake decorating classes and it was so much fun! Well organized and kids loved it. Highly recommend! Would do it again!

Who doesn’t love ice. Took my kids and while the ice cream itself was ok - the place was filthy and disorganized. A small effort this area would make a world of difference.

Decent place, but they deny service after 9:40 pm even though closing time is 10:00 pm. They close everything down and start cleaning - understandable, and if that’s needed hours need to be updated to reflect 9:30 pm close time.

Ordered Chocolate Fudge for delivery. They gave me something different that is NOT good. I think Chocolate Royale.. They didn’t call me or message me & that’s what I’m mad about. Cost me $21 on Doordash. I called the store, young man that answered, told me what he did. There was an order for a 9 round that asked for Chocolate Fudge ahead of me. I told him he needs to contact Doordash & explain what he did, he said he can’t do that.. Don’t just replace an item without consent. This was 3/9/2025, 6:40 pm.

I live in the area and visited Friday evening to get a cake for my sons Birthday. I picked out a cake and approached the cashier and asked if they could write happy birthday on the cake? He gave me a look and seemed super stressed! That’s when I noticed he was all by himself behind the counter, so I told him are you the only team member working? He nodded yes, and sorry he could not write on cake as he was clearly overwhelmed with online orders and full lobby. I told him don’t worry about it and understood his situation. Made sure to give him a tip. The one star review is for the ownership/management of the business! Your business license should be revoked for violating labor laws and reading other reviews this is been going on for a while. Take care of your employees and they will take care of your business. I will not return!

I was craving for some ice cream, as always BR a great spot, I had the Baseball Nut and Butter pecan yummm!!!

Absolutely horrific service. I ordered a turkey Thanksgiving cake for pick up at noon today and when I got there to the 4S ranch store was closed. I got there at 12:20. Knocked and called a few times to no answer. This cake is for my nieces second bday and for our Thanksgiving lunch. I had to leave and buy another make shift cake from Ralph’s. No phone call to say they are not open or that my cake should be picked up at another time. Now I’m at my lunch and the owner calls me and says oh well, we are open now at 1pm. Not apologetic at all and no explanation for why it was not open at noon nor any phone call letting me know it won’t be ready. The owner super inconsiderate and not helpful at all. She offered to deliver it but at 4pm when my lunch will already be done. I’ve asked for a refund, hopefully I get that. But extremely disappointed by the lack of client service and remorse. Will not be ever coming back here again.

We ordered an expensive cake for a very special occasion, and are pretty unhappy with how it turned out. The wrong name and age was written on top, despite the fact that I ordered online in clear print. The quick fix in the store was disappointing, and then we had to deal with trying to make it look nice. The cake itself did not seem fresh. If I need a cake for a special occasion next time I will go elsewhere.

Gross upkeep. BAthroom smelled and was clogged. I told the guy behind the counter and I could see he was not going to clean it. It's dangerous and dirty place. What a shame...

Servers never wear gloves when they are scooping ice cream.
