Great coffee and avocado toast! Atmosphere is cool, albeit pretty busy (but hey, if no one was in there, it probably wouldn’t be good!). They have nice indoor and outdoor seating.

Great vibes. The baristas were very helpful and the food was delicious! I had an iced white caramel & WOW it was so satisfying. The cafe is close to the park so we took everything to go and ate by the water.

Excellent service and coffee, highly recommend their pistachio vanilla latte. Also tried the bagel with egg and cheese and açaí bowl, both were a hit! Casual place with outdoor patio seating. Not fancy but lots of heart and worth a visit if you’re a coffee lover!

I dream of their chai latte! I live in Utah but make sure to stop here every time I’m in town for their iced chai latte. They make it in house and it’s sooo good. Their pastries are wonderful too.
Update 7/30/25 - I’m back in San Diego and have stopped here for my morning dirty chai with almond milk for the 3rd day in a row 😅 It’s too good!

Despite photos of reusable mugs on Google Maps, they only have single-use cups when we visited in July 2025.

This review places me squarely on the “glass half full” optimist bench.

Bay Park Coffee is another neighborhood coffee spot where locals congregate over conversations and caffeine. At Bay Park I tip my hat to the supporting cast and wonder about the potential.

The cappuccino is served in a paper cup, and the presentation conveyed all the labor required to press a button. If you’ve read my reviews you will certainly understand my frustrations at this point. I appreciate you for that.

However, much like Trevor Hoffman or Rollie Fingers (I still have his baseball card) Bay Park is all about the closers.

Firstly, the almond croissant was one of the best I’ve experienced in the US. Hear me out. A good friend of mine refers to me as the “Francofile” based largely on my penchant for this pastry. Light, Fluffy, and just the right amount of almond.

The coffee roaster deserves equal praise. Once I delved past the haphazard milk foam the coffee flavor was spot on. Nutty, rich, and bold. The iced Americano, served black, was one of the best I’ve had.

Bay Park Coffee has virtually all the necessary ingredients to stand out as a coffee house. Any well trained baristas out there, send a resume over.

If you find yourself in Bay Park, check them out and weight in. As it is the 4th of July, cast your vote. I am eager to see what becomes of this place. Enjoy.

Maybe for black coffee or strawberry matcha it’s good. Came here for a cortado and it was unfortunately terrible. Also serving coffee to drink in a paper cup is not something you expect from a cafe.

Staff was really friendly and loved that they allowed us to have our pug inside since we are from out of state and couldn’t find a place to leave him. Coffee was really good and my son enjoyed his açaí bowl. Bagel and croissant were a little dry missing some more cheese or some kind of dressing but overall we loved this place and highly recommended it.

Great local coffee shop. Great service with good coffee and lots of options. The breakfast sandwich was great. Perfect place to sit and get some work done or to hang with a couple friends and hang out. Definitely recommend.

Delicious unique coffee options....and amazing! Almond croissants!!!!! Those are rare and difficult to find! So so delicious!! Breakfast bagel sandwiches were good but needed more flavor. Wish they had more hot sauce options or had tomatoes and greens in the sandwiches.
Neat little place with nice patio seating.

First time here, kinda found by mistake. Definitely a little neighborhood gem.
I came to order an Açaí bowl, it was the best bowl I’ve had in a long time. Most are too focused on the trendy stuff they miss the mark. This was perfect, when I say perfect I mean balance of fruit, toppings and açaí, fruit was fresh, peanut butter was good. 10/10

They vibe in here is super comfy, inside and outside seating.
