I've had good experiences with the staff. But beware that they have changed their matcha to a bad tasting, pre-sweetened powder mix. I ordered an unsweetened matcha latte. When I got my matcha, it was undrinkable. I politely asked for an unsweetened matcha and was told that's was the only powder they had. I don't understand why that wasn't stated before I paid. But i needed caffeine, so I walked about with an iced coffee I didn't want. Disappointing

The employees here are literal angels on earth. They’re so sweet every day, remember my order, and always make sure to give my pups a pupcup. They make a phenomenal iced dirty chai!! I love this coffee spot so much!!!

As an almost decade-long EV resident, finally going into The Hob was the best surprise! Andrea is a ray of sunshine & SASS. Just like this wonderfully, well-designed coffee shop. Of course I got an oatmilk East Village latte, SO YUM! So stoked on this place, the people, the coffee and the vibe ??
