Wow I haven’t been here in a while (been coming for years) and when I came back, there seems to be a change in ownership and I’m here for it. The service has improved by ten-fold and now I won’t just be coming back for the yummy sandwiches, but to have the amazing and kind interactions that I faced today with all of the staff. I highly recommend the Benny sandwich. Thank you to the new owner and staff, you’re doing great!

Place was very cute and super low key. A local spot for sure. There’s no parking so just park across the street.

No dogs can be inside so if you’re planning to order make sure your dog is fine outside.

I had an ube croissant and matcha latte which was divine. The b-healthy egg sandwich was also really good.. highly recommend visiting.

Was craving a cinnamon bun, this definitely hit the spot!! Moist and perfectly sweet! And the salted maple cold brew with foam was amazing too!! Perfect pick-me-up.

I really want to love this place - the chai tea they made I heard them use the microwave for, it tasted like fake syrup. I got a coffee cake muffin that was stale, rock hard and the paper was stuck to it. The vegan breakfast sandwich was average.

Great little neighborhood cafe, with reasonable prices and great food. I'm all for the small business!!

We chose by small, local cinnamon roll bakery instead of a trendy pop-up and was really glad we did. It’s a mom-and-pop kind of place with a cozy, unpretentious feel. The cinnamon rolls were exactly what we were hoping for. It was soft, warm and sweet, and just the right amount of cinnamon and frosting. It’s the kind of treat that really satisfies a craving without being too over-the-top.

The menu is simple but solid, with a nice selection of baked goods if you’re in the mood to try something else. Everything looked fresh and homemade. Service was quick and the staff were kind, which made the experience even better.

There’s limited seating inside, but if you want to linger for some time, it’s perfect for grabbing something delicious to go or enjoying a quiet bite if there’s space.

I love finding spots like this - a small, local business that. Definitely worth a visit if you’re nearby, and a great place to support if you want something local and genuinely good.

I’m really glad to support this small business and eat a delicious cinnamon roll!

We stopped here for an early morning to go bite and brew. The food was amazing, coffee was great, and the service was excellent. Homemade rosemary bun on the breakfast sanwich was delightful. The blueberry muffin was soft and flavorful without being overly sweet. Definitely will stop in agan.

Can someone confirm if this place was bought out? Not what it used to be just 5 - 6 months ago… this places used to be filled with people. It’s 8:30am on a Saturday and its empty!

The pastries are good. The sandwiches are OK. I think the breakfast sandwiches are a bit overpriced, but I wouldn't mind if the people who serve were correctly trained. Here are two necessary trainign points that I spotted:

1. The staff should know about the products that are being oferred. If the store sold a product before, and stopped selling it for any reason, the staff should know about it. When the customer asks a question like "Where is this product, that I have bought here before" the answer should be informative (e.g. "We don't carry it any more", "We ran out", "It will be here later") The answer I received to all my questions was "That's all we have" It didn't matter what question I made, the answer was "That's all we have" "Where are the lime cookies?" "That's all we have" , "What is your special coffee today?" "That's all we have" "What time do you close today?" "That's all we have"

2. The staff is entitled to speak any language they want among themselves, but it is unnacceptable that one member of the staff points at a client, says something in a foreign language and starts giggling; and that on top of that, the other member of the staff addresses the customer and says "sorry about that" making it evident that they were making fun about the customer. In any busness, but especially in a bakery, it is important not to make fun of people appearances or any other circumstances. I felt so ashamed, I will probably never go back, despite the deliciousness of the menu.

Bear Buns is famous for their cinnamon rolls for good reason: their cinnamon rolls are outstanding. The staff is friendly, and all the other baked goods are also excellent. Sometimes they run out of cinnamon rolls - don't worry, there will be more the next day and it is worth it to return.
