Wonderful experience at Bencotto. Food quality was outstanding, service was impeccable & the drinks were great for the price.Definitely recommend this for a nice dinner in Little Italy.
Excelente cena Platillos balanceados y con muy buena cantidad, sin perder el sabor sobresaliente de cada uno de sus ingredientes Excelente atención por parte de el Mesero, al igual que sus ayudantes
Scott was amazing! Ambience was beautiful, perfect place for an intimate celebratory event.
This was our first visit and we would definitely return. Loved our waiter. Food was fabulous!
Generous portions, good sauces. Cream gnocchi with mushrooms... I still miss them! You can order to go (it was what we did), the prices are the same as on the menu to eat on site. Impeccable attention It's to recommend and return
This is my 2nd time going and the food and service was chef kiss. A modern Ambience paired with great food selection.
Soooooooo. Great wait staff and front of house, but the food is a step above Olive Garden. The pasta is not fresh nor is the seafood that was in my squid ink pasta. We were definitely being rushed due to the volume of customers on the waitlist.
The food and atmosphere were amazing. The service provided by Marc was amazing. So glad we chose this place to help celebrate our honeymoon
Simply the best Italian in Little Italy. Fresh, simple, comforting. Stop your search here.

The staff was amazing from the entrance to the waiter, thank you for a great experience. The food was delicious.
We had dinner at Bencotto Italian Kitchen in Little Italy, and I’d definitely recommend making a reservation — it gets busy fast. Even with our 5:30 reservation, the restaurant was already filling up, with only a few outdoor tables left.
We started with the burrata appetizer, which came with bread that tasted freshly baked. I would’ve preferred it a little more toasted for some extra crunch, but the pesto was bright and flavorful, and the tomatoes and ricotta were incredibly fresh. A drizzle of balsamic would’ve helped elevate the flavors, but overall, it was a solid starter.
For the main course, we each built our own pasta dishes — one with pappardelle in truffle cream and mushroom sauce (I added sausage — worth it), and the other with pappardelle in Bolognese sauce. The pasta is handmade in-house using Somali flour, and you can really taste the difference — tender, delicate, and perfectly textured. The sauces were rich and full of depth, and the ability to mix and match made the meal feel personal and fun.
– Fresh, flavorful, and beautifully made.
– Warm and lively, perfect for a date night or casual dinner.
– Friendly and efficient.
Overall, Bencotto is a must-visit if you’re in Little Italy. The handmade pasta and customizable options make for a memorable, elevated dining experience that still feels approachable.

Good quality food. Excellent home made pasta. The mushroom pasta in the cheese bowl was a little pungent for me.

Food was great as was the wine! Server was very friendly as well and we didn't feel rushed even though it was busy. Will definitely come again.
Service was not good, we ordered two martinis and both came with flies in the drinks. The waiter was not very apologetic, just said he would replace them. We ordered the bread with Parmesan dip and got bread and oil, no cheese. Pasta came out within minutes of the bread and within our first few sips of our remade martinis. Felt rushed, and not a good experience. Homemade pasta was good though
