Jacob was our server and did a wonderful job. We were celebrating my husband's birthday and sat outside under the heaters. Food was great, as was Jacob's wine suggestion.

Always happy to be at Bencotto! Great food, great service! Daughter is celiac and they are always able to accommodate. Gnocchi with Bencotto sauce was amazing, as was the burrata. Wi e Choi e by the server was a perfect choice.

We had a good meal but were disappointed in the menu selections. We had our 13 year old with us and she wanted meat balls and spaghetti and it wasn't on the menu. Our waiter David was excellent!

The service was sloppy, food was just ok, and the area of the restaurant where we were seated was not at all like the picture online. There was no ambiance and the floor wasn't swept. We hoped for a nice evening out and were very disappointed.

Modern Italian in San Diego's Little Italy. The food was amazing! Service friendly, attentive when needed and helpful with menu and wine list. Would go back for sure. Especially for the pasta mixed in Parmesan wheel.

The food was wonderful! Our server, Brian, was awesome! We had a window table and observed an elderly lady fall on the sidewalk so we ran out to help her and assist. She was bleeding and embarrassed but the staff was very helpful assisting her. When we got her going again we we resumed a great meal!

Bencotto was an all around great dining experience. Service was with a smile. We never felt rushed. Water was filled fairly regularly and food came out at a good pace. Food was delish! I got the cheese wheel pasta with sausage and my husband had the braised lamb shank and both were excellent. The misto salad was refreshing and the Gelato with whiskey cream sauce was incredible!
