Sadly this was the worst birthday dinner celebration. I had made reservations for my party of 6. There were 3 of us celebrating our birthdays and 1 of them was a first timer. Service was complete bad the entire night. 1st the server got part of the order wrong and the chef had to correct it. Then when she brought the salad out she forgot the dressing on one. She didn't bring the dressing after reminding her 3 times until mid service. The chef looked so embarrassed which kind of set his tone for how he was preparing our food. He seemed distracted and had over salted the fried rice and pretty much skimmed through the rest of the performance. We had to clear our own bowls by putting it on another table because she never came back. The other couple at our table went to look for our server because we never got a refill on our drinks. They were annoyed and asked of chef but he of course said we will need to wait for our server. So then I went to ask for a manager and spoke to him nicely and explained that we haven't seen our server for awhile and he seemed unfazed and didn't seem to care about my concerns. He then went to our table to look and walked away. The server then came out but dinner was over and she got us all refills but again messed that up as well. It was a bad experience all around and I still spent a lot for my party of 6 and still left a nice tip for horrible service.

Great food and service, but the ambiance and interior are very run down, and there's a horrible smell in the front room and lobby. It smells like the sewer. Unfortunately, I'm not joking. It's unfortunate because first impressions are everything. To add, the parking is terrible, and half is blocked off for paid valet. If it weren't for the service, I would rate this place one star.

Tonight (and for the second time within a month), this Benihana’s messed up my Grubhub order. Less than a month ago I ordered food and they cancelled my order exactly at 10pm upon closing despite the fact that I placed my order at 8:30pm. Grubhub apologized and refunded me despite Benihana causing the issue. I should have known better than to order from this restaurant again, but my hubby wanted some ramen from there tonight. Just as I started to feel like things might go smoothly, the driver arrives at the restaurant and was forced to call me. They told him they couldn’t fulfill my complete order because they ran out of broth for the ramen - and even better, they also couldn’t process my refund. When the driver finally arrives at my house with the other half of our order, they didn’t even include the condiments I requested. Bottom line - this is totally unprofessional and unacceptable. Don’t sign up for food delivery services for customers if you’re unable to accommodate them or can’t fulfill your basic duty of providing the food you have advertised as available on your menu within your posted operating hours. Horrible service!

I am writing on behalf of two excellent employees and most entertaining time I had in all the times have been to the restaurant. My hat goes off to Daniel for excellent service even while attending to other tables. The chef Christopher went above and beyond for the table making us laugh, putting on a culinary show, non stop entertainment both deserve 5 stars and to recognized a valuable asset.

Rude hostess, very unwelcoming, rolled her eyes when she was asked to remove the plate with a live bug on it.

Took me back to my childhood. Haven't seen or been to one in a long time. A bit expensive for me, but the food was great. Love the atmosphere and all the staff was friendly and welcoming.I really appreciate the dress code that they have. Didn't cause a problem with my limited wardrobe I had on a short trip. I wish more places has certain moral standards for their locations.

Prices went up, portions are smaller. Service is hit or miss, Nicole is the absolute worst. Food is exactly the same as it was 20 years ago minus the higher price and smaller portion. Still a good show and a decent meal.Edit. We come back once every few months. Lately it feels like were getting pushed out. One member of our party was still eating when the server came with the check. We hadnt even ordered out ice cream yet. Hundreds of dollars for dinner to get rushed out right after the show

The staff here is very rude. They had an hour wait even with a reservation. They only "partially checked us in" and after we had waited almost an hour, told us we would have to wait another hour because we were not fully checked in even though the person that originally checked us in told us we were good to go. We left and went to shogun, much nicer staff and better experience.

Reservations at 5 and we arrived about 10 minutes early. We were seated right on time, but from there, the experience went downhill. This was not our first Benihana outing so we were pretty disappointed at the service. Our drinks and food requests were taken within 15 minutes of being seated, but it took around a 1/2 hour for the drinks to appear. The soup and salad is usually served right away, but again, our server seemed to have "disappeared". The chef showed up with his serving cart, but the soup and salad still had not appeared. As the chef started cooking I asked my son, "Don't we get soup and salad first?" They finally showed up as the fried rice was being cooked. Our chef's demeanor was, how can I put it, lackluster at best. We are used to a pretty energetic "show" but, unlike other tables around us, the chef was pretty quiet. This was our 3rd year going to Benihana's for my son's birthday, but not sure we'll do it again.

Not good service, workers distracted with outside issues. Didn’t care about the customers that were seated. Need to not overbook or tell people to leave once they are done eating. I was scared as an ambulance came after workers fought outside. My life felt threatened.

Overall a terrible Benihana experience. I would not normally post a bad review purely based on service but when you are seated for 40 minutes before a waiter takes your drink order and 1.5 hrs before they started cooking I felt I needed to. No one told us they were running behind. We got up to leave and the manager pleaded with us to stay. Gave us a 10% discount which frankly was not enough. Our reservation was at 7:30, seated at 7:40. Did not see our waiter until 8:15. We’re not told of the situation until we found someone to ask at 8:45. Chef did not start until 9:15. To top it off it took an additional 20 minutes just to get our bill which I finally got by walking to the register. We are very easy going diners but I wish I had had been more vocal in our displeasure. The bus staff were the only ones who acknowledged us. Oh and finally they have no parking. They setup a valet which was full. Got lucky and found street parking. Benihana is always a little slower with the rotation of the chefs but my god I don’t think I’ve ever experienced worse service at any restaurant. If you go to this location I would recommend directly asking how long the wait will be. Whatever they say tack on 20 minutes and decide if you want to wait it out. Our chef was incredibly 5 minutes away for 40 minutes.
