We went to this place several times while on vacation in San Diego as it was pretty close to our airbnb and a cheaper option than most restaurants in our area. They give you large portions for the price, and the food was always made fresh and hot. Breakfast burritos and rolled tacos were both really good!
In my exploration of the breakfast burrito ? in southern California I've noticed another Google maps category error, which is calling taco shops/taco stands "Mexican restaurant." Technically a taco shop is a sub category of Mexican restaurant, but practically they are two radically different enterprises.

I love bennys taco shop but lately the burritos haven’t been tasting the same no flavor and dry they never used to be like that a big issue I have with the cook is he never washes his hand after looking on his phone or when he’s done swiping in the back never washes his hands kind of gross com on amigo got to step it up !!!
