My only fav lowkey chill spot to get really fresh/good pizza! I tried several pizza joints in San Diego(many of them serve Italian style pizza) but if you like a New York style pizza then this is the one. We always do the 2 slices and a pint deal each, garlic knots and buffalo wings- costs bout 50$ overall! Their service, atmosphere and the food quality never fails to impress us(even in the busiest of times). There’s plenty of parking available around since its in a shopping complex. It has both indoor and outdoor seating spaces w heaters, personally outdoor patio is my favorite.

I've never had less than a great experience with Best Pizza. The pizza is consistently really good, the happy hour is solid, and the gluten free crust is better than most other spots

I used to love this place, up until my recent visit. I was harassed over my ID for purchasing beer. After showing the cashier my ID the first time, he repeatedly asked me multiple times "Are you sure you're 21?" when I literally presented my ID to him and had him hold it too. I felt extremely uncomfortable about the situation. To make things worse, the employee allowed a customer to disrespect me by yelling out absurd profanity language which is not acceptable. The employees did nothing to help escalate the situation, which made us leave the place and never returning again. I will be letting my friends and family know about the situation, and hope that they do not support a business like this. There are plenty of pizza place around the area, I will take my business elsewhere.

Very awkward interaction with the cashier when I bought 2 pizzas and a pint. He asked for my id, I showed him and then he asked if I am over 21. I said yes and he continued to ask if I was 21 over 4 times. I had JUST showed him my ID and said yes I am. He did the same thing with my friend that I was with. He then sent us to a different employee to check our IDs again. I understand that you have to do your job, but the amount of times that he asked felt overkill. I felt like I was being harassed over my age when I provided proper information about my age. As we were showing the other employee our ID, a customer decided to intervene and comment about the situation. Saying “he is one of the owners, he is just doing his job” yes, he might be doing his job, but the way he went about doing his job was very awkward and unprofessional. The customer then said to my friend “if you wanna take this outside we can” basically threatening him. I find it terrible that the employees allowed the guy to disrespect us when we did nothing wrong. We provided our IDs for the employee and told him “yes we are 21” when he asked, he continued to ask us over 5 times each if we are 21. I don’t know if the cashier knows what “yes” means but it doesn’t seem like it. Will not be returning to this location or ANY best pizza and brew locations.

Two of my friends came earlier in the day and they were absolutely treated horribly by cashier names Barak. Both of them were of legal age and showed and gave the cashier the ID to confirm it. He then kept asking multiple times (more than 4 times). It got so bad to the point where my friends were uncomfortable and they found it extremely unprofessional of Barak despite them showing ID many times for ordering beer. Another customer decided to interupt them yelling saying that he is one if the owners and he is just doing his job then threatened them saying if you want to take this outside. Absolutely terrible customer service from cashier Barak as he did nothing to escalate the situation between my friends and other bystander. Hope owner sees this and actually does something about him because we will not ever be going there again.

Amazing pies, and the place is great inside and out.
I love this place. Loved it over 8 years ago and loved it now. Thin pizza but flavorful and great atmosphere. Was super upset to hear about the decision to get rid of mac and cheese though. That was one of the best things to get here and I would literally crave it while we were on the east coast.

Vegetarian options: You can order vegetarian pizza or appetizers or salads. And change the ingredients even in the pizza that’s how much they make everything right away.
We love going to Best Pizza ! The atmosphere is awesome, relaxing and enjoying meeting up with friends. When we can’t go out delivery is quick and easy. We love the food.
