Better Buzz Coffee Mission Beach

Finding it impossible to see this store has such a high rating. I’m concluding this rating to tourists who are overly excited about finding a cool local spot.
Ordered an on line pre order -ETA was 5 mins. I waited 17 mins in the store (ya they were busy and didn’t want to be a dick ) I finally asked where my order was. The girl working told me it would be another 10-15 mins before they cooks prepare my order. !!!!!!! Coffee better be FREE for waiting 40 mins !!!!!

WHERE ARE YOUR VEGAN OPTIONS ???? Where are they ??? And don’t hand me a PDF and tell me to check every items nutritional content so I can order appropriately. YOU tell me what’s vegan, YOU work there and or run the place !!!!

All of your specialty drinks( Which is not something I order frequently because of the calorie content however, for Christmas or special occasions, I might order something. That’s a specialty.) however even Mocha and chai lattes have dairy in their powder. It’s not hard to get a cocoa that’s vegan. It’s not hard to order vegan options - I see you have a vegan zucchini bread and a vegan zucchini muffin. I’ve yet to see that more than twice in my entire life and I’ve lived in Mission Bay for years. What is going on the store really needs to order appropriately in order for everyone. And you can take that PDF and shove it.

it’s always way too cold in there. Tell me why the huge window / garage door front wall is always open. This is stupid. When it rains close the windows and doors, when it’s cold - close it.

This place is unusually load like too load to think !!! There is nothing inside to absorb the blasting music and shouting people, this place is designed like a warehouse.
Between the entire wall that opens up like a window and the blasting music, it is not comfortable to sit and it is definitely not comfortable to work for an hour or two

I live with a Stonesthrow of this location, but I would prefer to get in my car and drive to Pacific Beach then to walk 10 feet from my house. This location absolutely sucks.

This was my first time at Better Buzzed. We ordered an Acai bowl and their Better Breakfast Sandwich, along with a White Mocha and a Caramel Vanilla Latte. Everything was great.

If u want to be bed ridden after drinking the coffee sure go here, the first day my friends and I went we thought the stomach ache was due to something else until I went back the next and I am taken down again. This is putting the vacation on pause. I’ve never felt a stomach ache like these past two I’ve had. Doing great now that I’ve not gone back!!

I love coming to this Better Buzz! I always get the turkey aïoli pesto sandwich for lunch and take it to the beach for the perfect break. The coffee is delicious especially the homemade vanilla bean latte and their smoothies are delicious as well! Service has always been really friendly, which I love and makes me return!

Tasty drinks and kind staff! We came and got americanos but they had a lot of interesting options on the menu too! Lots of seating and natural light from the windows. Great place to get some espresso!

Better buzz coffee to begin with is the best coffee there is so far in SD. But this one is great with customer service and the atmosphere is so nice and cozy I will be coming here often! Totally recommend

Got the iced horchata latte. Has no horchata taste to it. Literally just coffee and milk for $8. Disappointing.

You can smell the beach and it has a very comfortable bar that faces the street.

This coffee shop puts Starbucks to shame. The baristas are friendly and kind, there's a great vibe from the moment you walk in, and the coffee is far superior to the burnt drinks at Starbucks. To be clear, I've been going to Starbucks for thirty years, and since my first trip to Better Buzz, I haven't gone back to Starbucks. And on the off chance there's a problem with your drink or food? They take care of it, without any attitude, and without argument. The bucks can't say that.

Parking: There's a couple of street spots but mostly it's on the street, right in front
