Always a great breakfast here! I was lucky to have a Marie sighting, too.

The food is outstanding and there is a varied menu. I have never been made to feel so welcome in any establishment I have visited in my life. Beyond the food your visit will be enriched by engaging with Judy 'the beauty on duty' who lavishes love on her customers and the food they eat. Oh, and it is perfectly OK to stop eating and have an impromptu dance.

Loved this old-time-y breakfast spot. The pancakes were amazing, the coffee was good, and the oldies music in the background was awesome. The workers were also very attentive and hardworking. Go here!

Had high hopes for the place. First impressions were a long wait and cold food. Everything was cold. It felt like they forgot the two of us were sat there or something. Two groups came after us and got food before us. There was also a drunk yelling the whole time. My gf just wanted their delicious looking potatoes. We were sad and disappointed.

Waited over 40 minutes for 2 pancakes, a side of potatoes, strawberries a sausage and egg. The pancake wasn’t bad but was lukewarm. The potatoes were cold like they have been sitting there for a while. We saw other people who came after us get there food faster.

The service isn't fast but the character of the staff and the delicious food will leave you smiling all day. Vegan options available. I had the tofu Ranchero served with fried potatoes.Vegetarian options: Vegan options. Tofu scramble can be substituted for any egg dish. Soyrizo also available.

I hate to leave bad reviews, especially since we enjoyed coming here the first couple of times- but unfortunately there was a cockroach that crawled onto our table as we were eating our meal. Please use caution, this is sincerely unacceptable for an establishment.

I didn't know that a place as wholesome and magical existed in San Diego. This place is both real and surreal. And my heart finally felt at home. Can't wait to come back again!

Not sure what the hype is. We didn't even realize there were better breakfast places around this adorable old neighborhood. Service was okay, slow. Our food was mediocre at best. Coffee was lukewarm like our food and bland.
