I love it here. I wish I had this shop in Sacramento. If we did. I would probably come here everyday. Second thought, maybe it's better to not have one close to home. Lol I can't wait to fly back just to visit this shop. I just want to try every drink on the menu. If you are in San Diego. I beg you to try this place. This was a whole vibe.

Best coffee & best coffee patio in pb. But it doesn't matter they close randomly now. Tragic.

Wonderful selection of roasted beans, and coffees to choose from.Iced or hot, coffee and teas.

Waited 20 minutes for a decaf Americano and it was bitter. Several customers there but not packed by any means.

Got a regular coffee, nothing fancy. Very bitter. I don't recommend unless you like bitter coffee. I threw out half of it, something I never do. Also had to wait about 20 minutes for my wife's Americano. She also thought it was bitter, and had to add half and half (she usually drinks it black), which didn't help. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Cute place, yummy coffee (I got the dirty horchata), nice vibes, horrendous wifi. I tried to come here to take a meeting, which was my own mistake. It was difficult to login because my computer hates those networks that pull up a website that you have to "login" to, but even once I got connected I kept getting kicked off. Great place to be, but maybe only if you plan to read a book or catch up with a friend.

Great oat latte. Loved that the barista was weighing and timing the shot for quality. Not often find a place that really knows the science and process for a great shot.

Couldn't think of a better place to have an iced latte here in Pacific Beach when it's 85° outside!...

Coffee was good but on the sour/acidic side. If you like sour coffee this is the place. But otherwise avoid..

Came here for the first time after my morning walk. The girl who helped me was sweet and nice. They DO NOT accept cash so bring your card with you. I got the Left West Coast which was tasty and definitely gave me some pep in my step. If you haven't tried this place out please stop by and try it. The coffee and service is very good. Thank you Birdrock Coffee Roasters for a yummy first time. Will definitely be back.

The staff is super friendly and the lattes are always just right - not too hot (because that makes them bitter) and not too cold (because I like the hug going down my inside). I appreciate that 'for here' drinks come in a real mug because it seems classy. You can taste that the coffee beans are quality and roasted by a pro. The pastry counter looks good, and my friend got an option that met her dietary restrictions and made her happy. They are conveniently located right near the pier, and have a dog bowl for your pup to get a drink too. You will find a fun journal/book on the counter near the drink pick up station that builds community with entries from guests and the team in the form of both written words and sketched art. The only downside I see is that the gift cards don't sync up with those sold on the website. But the manager was kind enough to transfer my emailed credit to a card. Although, I hate having one more card to carry so an in-app integration would be great. But the coffee is so good that I did not dock their score for this downfall.

2 stars only because of the coffee, and the employee taking our order was pleasant. Outside seating is great also. But the barista making the drinks has really poor customer service. As we went inside to get our drink, we asked if the drink was ours. Her response was "I don't know." So we stopped and stood there and stared for a long 10 seconds. She then says "this one has oat milk in it." Negative energy and bad service.

Just ok. Bagel was edible, coffee ok. Definitely underwhelmed by the staff. Felt like I was an interruption. 3 stars for patio and the overall vibe. But definitely nothing special given all of the options in the immediate area.
