Chill place, decent espresso.
The person taking orders was a bit rude and not accommodating
They have a good production line but wait time for 1 shot of espresso was too long, 10 minutes,.
I like that they’re Aussie based,

Great coffee, a fantastic gluten free muffin, and fast friendly service made this one of the best in the neighborhood. Outside seating a plus too.

I enjoyed my coffee at this quaint neighborhood shop. Sat outside and worked watching planes fly overhead landing at the airport. The novelty of that wore off after I tried to take a work call!

You know those rare moments when you walk into a place and instantly feel like you’re being taken care of by a genuinely good human? That was us — me and my man! — strolling into Bird Rock Coffee a solid 10 minutes before closing (which is usually the danger zone for awkward vibes 😬).
But instead of getting the classic “please don’t order anything complicated” energy, we were greeted by Amanda, who may very well be the soul of that café.
She welcomed us with the sweetest smile, zero rush, zero pressure. Not only did she help us pick out what we wanted, she actually took the time — at closing time! — to share her story, talk with us like friends, and make us feel so genuinely appreciated. Who does that anymore?!
✨ And honestly… in a world where so much customer service feels robotic or rushed, having someone like Amanda remind us what real human connection feels like? It’s priceless. It’s the kind of warmth you can’t automate, can’t fake, and absolutely can’t replace with a robot.
We walked in expecting a quick caffeine grab.
We walked out feeling like we’d had a moment.
And that is all thanks to Amanda.
Bird Rock Coffee, Little Italy — you’ve got a gem on your team. Treat her well, celebrate her often, and know she’s out here turning tired end-of-day customers into lifelong fans. 💛
If you want kindness with your coffee, go see Amanda.
She’s the kind of person who makes the world feel lighter.

I've always had great service and fantastic coffee every single time I've come here. They always feature coffees from different regions and this is where I learned to appreciate that. There was also a time when a server remembered me even though I hadn't been there in quite a while, which is always a nice touch. So yes all the kudos and positive reviews are well deserved.

Delicious, properly made, authentic cappuccinos made here — just like one would drink in Italy. 🙏🙏🙏👏👏👏
I also appreciated that they had a few food options, including a Chia pudding topped with fruit and breakfast sandwiches.
The Crack Shack is directly across the street and another l member in our group was able to purchase a massive, hot, delicious sandwich. I would return to this area of a little Italy in a heartbeat…
The only thing that made me sad was that I discovered this hidden gem of a cafe on my way to the airport! See you next time Bird Rock!
