Excellent cappuccinos and man was I surprised with their hot chocolate. It was really good, will definitely be back.

The latte was really good. The staff were friendly. They had free wifi and free water. The voice was medium to quiet. A very nice place to work at!

We tried the Single Origin Cold Brew and a Cappuccino and both were excellent. The coffee was ready in just a few minutes, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. There is plenty of seating, making it easy to relax. The drinks were smooth and flavorful without any sharp or acidic taste. I highly recommend this spot to anyone who loves quality coffee and a comfortable atmosphere.

I live really close and I try to come every once in a while but at 36 years old, I have to say this is the slowest moving Coffee established when I’ve ever been to be prepared to wait well over 20
Minutes for anything you want, especially food

The barista didn’t make my drink as requested — I asked for less milk, but it wasn’t done. When I mentioned it, he just said “sorry” without even looking at me and didn’t offer to fix it. Definitely not coming back.

My coffee was very disappointing. I won’t be coming here again but the atmosphere is very nice. I noticed people hanging and working inside.

Visiting from out of town and one of the best coffee and food experiences my wife and I have had in SD!

The coffee and ice coffee were delicious and made just right.
The brioche breakfast sandwich is amazing! So much flavor! And not too overpowering!

I can remember 3 times where I
Waited and they did not deliver my order. This happened this morning. Also people aren’t in uniform. It looks like they walked out of bed. Also prices for a sandwhich are 7-10$. At Starbucks, they’re all under $5 for the same exact thing.

This place knows coffee, and you can taste it in every sip. I got a latte and it was perfect — smooth, rich, and beautifully balanced. Plus, the latte art was so pretty I almost didn’t want to drink it (but I did, and I loved it 😄).
The vibe inside is super chill, and you can tell they really care about where their beans come from. I even picked up a bar of single-origin chocolate they had on display, and it paired so well with the coffee.
If you’re a coffee lover or just looking for a cozy spot to take a break, Bird Rock is absolutely worth it. I’ll definitely be back!
