I was the customer down here at this location and when I was waiting for my food off to the side, I noticed the cook taking out meat out of a cooler with no ice. It was a very hot day and the meat was just baking in the sun, I noticed they even had water bottles and drinks off on the side baking in the sun. this is a good way to get somebody very ill. After receiving my food. I just end up trashing it. I did not want to gamble with my health. I live up in Anaheim and something like this you could lose your business license

I got the California Birria Burrito. It disappointed a lot. It’s in the same plaza as Humberto, which is my go to. I tried this place cause I’ve seen it many times. The burrito disappointed as soon as I realized they used imitation McDonald fries. The birria was dry, and they only have red salsa. The whole time I was thinking I should’ve just gone to Humberto.

For such a small walk-up window, they have very big bold flavors. We ordered the quesabirria and the ramen, and both were great! We also ordered one side of rice but quickly realized we needed 2 because there was no way I was going to share my rice. The cashier was really nice and the service was quick. Great experience all around.

Small shack-lile setup but big time birria flavor and novel options like ramen, burritos, quesadillas, and nachos. There's no indoor seating. Just a few outside tables which can get crowded but it's a perfect to go place for lunch and you can take your food down the street to the park.
Delicious food!!! It was my meal right after getting off the plane for my trip in San Diego. Very satisfying after a long day traveling. I want to go back before I leave. The counter man checked on us and offered to cut our torta in half which I thought was very thoughtful. Very happy with our experience!

Stopped by and got a birria taco (no queso) + consome. I love how much of a hole in the wall this is. Tacos was delicious and the birria was fully of flavor, as was the consome. After finishing my taco, I started sipping the consome like juice, despite it being like 80 degrees and sitting in direct sunlight... that's how good it was. I will say that they're a bit overpriced, and I didn't like that I had to pay extra for the consome. I'd go back to try some of the other items on the menu for sure, though.

First time in Cali, and this Gem did not disappoint!! Customer service was Excellent in every way!! Both pleasant and attentive! Absolutely, by far the most delicious Quesabirria I’ve ever had! This birria had the most tender meat, generously topped with cheese and the consume was extremely flavorful!! This is a MUST on your itinerary!! When in Cali, I will definitely come back and pay this place a visit!!
