One of the best places to get Mexican food in San Diego! We always get the beef birria tacos when we're in the neighborhood, and they're always authentic & delicious. My friend also got a shrimp taco, which she said was amazing.The menu is in Spanish, but ask for the English version if you need.

Today I had the best shrimp tacos I've ever had here at 664. This place is definitely walkable from downtown, and the #12 #901 and #929 bus all stop within 1-2 blocks. My friend said his birriria tacos were, "Delicious". Thank you, we will be back!

The shrimp soup was delicious. Lots of shrimps and the big prawn was delicious top. Casual and quick service. Certainly authentic.

I had heard good things about this place. However, when I stopped by for lunch on a Monday the place was disgusting. The table they sat me at had crumbs on the seat and all over the table. I tried to overlook it because of the high ratings and how welcoming the ladies were. When i was really disgusted was when i tried to use the restroom which looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a week. If the restroom looks like that Im sure the kitchen is not good either. The food was also nothing to write home about. I ordered the quesabirra tacos and the birria tacos and honestly couldn't tell a difference. When the waitress dropped them off even she couldn't tell me which was which until i started digging thru them to find the cheese.

No flavor, tj birria is popping in every corner kinda like Starbucks the quality is not there , went early in the morning @ 7am I think I got the day before birria it was water down more cosome than meat all the vegetables were old cilantro, onions lemons order three quesa tacos and a large birria. never again will I order from TJ Birria

This Birrieria is FANTASTIC. The quesobirria tacos are delicious. I have yet to find any as good as this place. They have a few locations around SD, so dont wait to go snag a few.Get the consome too to dip the tacos into.

I decided to try this place on E Main in El Cajon.. The tacos are good. But - they charge you 65 cents for using your bank card, and for these two tacos it was $14.46 which is ridiculous.. You can go to an extremely nice restaurant and get two tacos for this price with a side of beans and rice. I won't be going back. That price is absolutely crazy!
