I made a reservation thru OpenTable so that we can be seated right away, however, a table was not ready for us. To their credit, they had limited seating due to the rain causing them to close their patio, however, that went out the window when they kept seating other people and even seated a 4-person group in a 6-person booth, which we could've squeezed into as a 7-petite person group. They continued to seat others and made us wait for 45 minutes. We asked for the manager to let her know. She apologized, but did not give us an action plan to avoid this tour of experience in the future. It was nice that she upgraded our pizzokies to regular sizes, and a $30 gift card, which made it a little better. However, it would have been nice to know that she had a plan to avoid this type of experience in the future. The pizzokie dinner deals are great! A lot of us ordered endless soup and salad, which was good for the most part, but the cheddar broccoli was too thick. They made errors with trying to serve us other people's orders. And we had to order some of our meals twice, because it was taking too long for them to serve it. So our experience was not up to par to say the least.

This was the wildest experience I've had in a restaurant. I was a server for 4 years and I have compassion and understanding but this was beyond. Our orders were messed up, food not cooked, missing items, etc. Which is fine, things happen. But we tried to pay our bill and it was wrong by like $100. And all the managers were in a meeting and wouldn't help and we were literally forced to stay for one hour after we requested the bill, with a toddler and a baby who needed to get home. And then it was still wrong 4 more times. Needless to say we won't be going back.

Overall, the atmosphere was great. Although it was rainy and chilly, the outside patio stayed warm thanks to the overhead heaters. The ambiance was fun, lively, and very welcoming. There were a few issues with the food, such as taste and temperature, but overall, the experience was enjoyable. Service could have been a bit better, but it wasn't terrible. As a first-time BJs customer, I would definitely go back.

We had 8 people, assorted ages. It was so DARK that everyone had to get out their flashlights to read the menu, then you could barely see your food when it arrived.

Horrible experience. The waitress told us our pizookie was available and proceeded to not place our order, then come back after dinner and tell us that it was out of stock, after we had spent $50 on dinner. I was beyond upset and the waitress did absolutely nothing to help us out. Horrid service, I will never return to this restaurant.

Hostess was rude and obviously didn't want to be there or understand customer service. Fortunately once you get past her the experience is just what you expect from a family friendly sports bar.

I’ve been to the Mission Valley location numerous times without any problems but this location was something else. The french fries had to have been sitting for a while. The burger was requested medium but came out well done and dry. The chicken sandwich was very dry and lacked flavor but I guess that’s better than raw chicken. We won’t be back to this location.

For the past two visits at this location, I haven’t had good experiences. Once seated, it had taken us 15 minutes to be approached by a waitress. Also there was a leakage on the table we were seating on, and once moved it took more time to be approached by a different waitress. Over the course of 45 minutes all we had received was our waters. It was not worth waiting any longer for our pizookies and wings so we left. There was a clear lack of consideration for our time. The staff clearly couldn’t handle the number of tables they were given as many tables were left waiting.

The hostess ignored us although she passed by to talk to her coworkers multiple times and when finally acknowledging us she had a dismissive attitude and was very rude. She said she’s waiting to have a table cleaned which is understandable but she did tell us to stand in the corner which is odd. What’s not ok is right after that another couple walked in and the host was cheery, friendly and acknowledged them right away and sat them immediately while we were still waiting. I’m not sure what her problem with us was but her attitude was uncalled for and very unprofessional.

Visited for my kids' 18th birthday. Food was tasty as always, though one person's meal wasn't sent to the kitchen so that was disappointing. What was most frustrating about our visit was our server completely ignoring us. Not sure if it was about us personally or if she was just having a bad night, but she definitely took it out on us. She wouldn't take additional drink orders, never asked how our meals were, and refused to bus any dishes. We ended up moving our appetizer dishes to a nearby open table, skipping ordering additional drinks or desserts, and took my kids' birthday pizookies (which we had to ask for) to go. The food and ambiance were great, but our server's attitude made it just a really disappointing birthday dinner.
