I love this place USUALLY… I tell all my friends about it and it’s a go to for visiting family and friends. I’ve gone at least once a week for six weeks now (I’m pregnant it’s a craving) This last time was AWFUL!! Idk what’s going on but I ordered a sandwich to go and it had two slices of turkey on it! Two thinly sliced pieces. Typically I eat inside and the sandwich is loaded with turkey. I don’t pay over $14 for a sandwich with two slices of thin turkey on it. It’s never ever been like this before!! What’s going on? Do I need to find another spot to get my sandwich fix?

This place looks and feels cool. But service is always extremely slow.

Blackmarket has been on my list for a long time due to its popularity. The place is definitely eclectic with its outlandish style and sense of humor in terms of atmosphere / indoor setting. The layout inside is a bit chaotic with seating arranged around displays of merchandise like a marketplace for cute gifts and treats. There are plenty of outlets. Large outdoor patio area as well. Coffee is average and food is standard-to-good, a bit on pricier side. I would go here more for the theme and as an outing with friends or family because it is fun and cute!
Parking: Parking in this area is difficult to find

Just close the doors if you’re out of everything! No avocado? Out of this and out of that. Then we order two sandwiches in a Croissant. And guess what? They both came on a brioche. Guess they were out of Croissants too! Just didn’t let us know! 45 bucks to not have anything I ordered! I would steer clear. Fool me once shame on you!

Amazing place to grab lunch & stay for a bit. Outside or inside. Their pastries are AMAAAZING, but also their sandwiches. I tried the Phoenix one & it had lots of avocado. I also really enjoyed their apple tarts. I came on Oct 6 the cashier at the front was amazing! Will definitely come by again.

Love the variety of croissants that Black Market Bakery offers. They are a must, the sweet or savory a like. They also make very good breakfast sandwiches and coffees, like the cortado I usually have. Service is usually very friendly.

Delicious coffee options. We were a little surprised at the lack of baked items. But what we did get was delicious.

Best shortbread cookies around! Plus Dutch Crunch bread? Oh my! I sometimes have to walk in with blinders on because ALL of their pastries and bakes are the best!

I love this place. It's very decadent food but definitely delicious. Made very fresh I love their breakfast sandwiches and all of their bakery items I've tried I havent been disappointed. Also love their drinks. I got the matcha latte and im so glad that it's not a premixed sugar matcha. Just traditional matcha!

Visiting San Diego with my puppy and was looking for a dog friendly bakery. Breakfast was extremely underwhelming, 90% of my breakfast sandwich was a bun. There’s other comments I should’ve listened to.
Service was slow and workers had no urgency to take my order (yes I was being patient)…
The gluten free brownies were ok ?♀️and coffee was ok. Not a memorable bakery.

Perfect place to bring the dogs to have a coffee and a delicious pastry. 4/5 only because we ordered “For here” but got to-go cups. This was not the first time that happened. Trying to cut down on plastic waste and this does not seem environmentally conscious.
