The coffee was great and there food. sat a couple of times at the outdoor patio it felt like an oasis.
The food was good. Drinks were fragrant and delicious. Staff were extremely friendly. Love the outdoor dog friendly patio.
i got the uncle tiger sandwich and IT WAS SO GOOD? the staff were super kind and patient, the baked goods were divine, and i will def be back! the uncle tiger sandwich was the best sandwich i've had in san diego i think! <3 so much love
Great place...food was amazing and the outside is nice! but their a little slow when busy...
Delicious cookies
I’m always excited to come here. The girls at the front are super sweet, and the guys in the back? Hot stuff. It’s a little pricey, but honestly, it’s worth every penny. I love grabbing my morning coffee and a pastry or breakfast sandwich and kicking back in their outdoor seating area. It’s the perfect way to start the day.
I love this place USUALLY… I tell all my friends about it and it’s a go to for visiting family and friends. I’ve gone at least once a week for six weeks now (I’m pregnant it’s a craving) This last time was AWFUL!! Idk what’s going on but I ordered a sandwich to go and it had two slices of turkey on it! Two thinly sliced pieces. Typically I eat inside and the sandwich is loaded with turkey. I don’t pay over $14 for a sandwich with two slices of thin turkey on it. It’s never ever been like this before!! What’s going on? Do I need to find another spot to get my sandwich fix?

Blackmarket has been on my list for a long time due to its popularity. The place is definitely eclectic with its outlandish style and sense of humor in terms of atmosphere / indoor setting. The layout inside is a bit chaotic with seating arranged around displays of merchandise like a marketplace for cute gifts and treats. There are plenty of outlets. Large outdoor patio area as well. Coffee is average and food is standard-to-good, a bit on pricier side. I would go here more for the theme and as an outing with friends or family because it is fun and cute!
Parking: Parking in this area is difficult to find

Just close the doors if you’re out of everything! No avocado? Out of this and out of that. Then we order two sandwiches in a Croissant. And guess what? They both came on a brioche. Guess they were out of Croissants too! Just didn’t let us know! 45 bucks to not have anything I ordered! I would steer clear. Fool me once shame on you!

Amazing place to grab lunch & stay for a bit. Outside or inside. Their pastries are AMAAAZING, but also their sandwiches. I tried the Phoenix one & it had lots of avocado. I also really enjoyed their apple tarts. I came on Oct 6 the cashier at the front was amazing! Will definitely come by again.
